This Ohm's Law that you have studied in Class 10 is for DC, and not for A.C.
When you study A.C current, you'll get to know why this happens.

In ohms law we studied that v=IR at a constant temp..but whenever the current flows in a conductor there will always be production of heat either less or more .....
So the ohms law is never applicable in real life but for base we study ohms law

I have a question
We use we use nichrome wires for heating purpose for example in iron press etc . We use nichrome wire because it has high resistance show according to joules law of heating effect amount of heat energy is directly proportional to the resistance, more will be the resistance more will be the heat produced.
But in the formula given by the joule's law that is I²Rt, heat is also directly proportional to the square of current passed. So if the resistance will increase then the current will decrease and if the current decreases then the heat produced must decrease because it is directly proportional.
In this way we increase the resistance, the heat will decrease as or increasing resistance current decreases and current is directly proportionall to heat produced

It is applicable only if you are using step down transformer in which the current of the primary coil will give out more heat and we have to make the wire thicker
