True American? Lol. Roy Mallock's company are the ones who originally designed the Saleen, the actual Saleen company had very little to do with the S7's development and engineering.

@@potatoavacadonion1025 Bugatti and Hennessey can't really keep up with the S7 TT Competition as they're more focused to achieve top speed at a straight line. Koenigsegg would be a great rival with their track-focused Jesko. However, Pagani Zonda R would arguably be the one to keep up or surpass S7 TT Competition as it's literally a race car for the track.
That V8 pushed this car over 250mph, it was in a very exclusive club back in the mid-2000s. The design holds up well, although the long tail Steve Saleen wanted on it hasn't held up over time as much as the rest of the car, the front is as beautiful as any super car ever in my opinion.
