      Thanks. Like many others I've been wondering. I just checked (7 years later, I guess) and you are right. Googling your Rossini piece sent me back to TH-cam, and I got to listen to it again, though without the moon.

    Very nice choice of background music :) The style somewhat resembles Vivaldi... I could be wrong though.

    just again took advantage of this precise graphic tool to
    double verify how close the Super Moon looks like ^^

    a few days ago I've seen mare crisium very low, much lower than the max it goes in this video for 2013. Is it because I am in the southern hemisphere? Maybe I was wrong, my telescope is not so good, and my knowledge little. The day after I have seen it much higher though. thanks

    Well what I saw on 11/14/2013 is that Moon's Mare Crisium (big black dot usually between 90 and 0 degrees on the face of Moon) now was 270 degrees, or -90 maybe -80.
    I don't recall this suppose to happen, anyone know why does it look like that?

      I know this is an extremely old comment and I don't have an explanation but I have been finding quite a few other people posting about this very this and I saw it once too in September of 2016. Its good to know others are seeing this but I want to know why it occurs but there is literally no information i can find describing this.

      An educated person. I could not be happier that someone with musical knowledge such as yours took the time to explain that- to a tone deaf dork like me. I grew up in Detroit- Rock and Roll, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal...until I lost a lot of my hearing, mostly the higher notes. I was a kid, had no idea that by the time your ears feel pain that the damage is already done....I knew nothing else till I grew up....but I can still enjoy music such as this.
      It is beautiful. Thank You. Thank You Very Much.

      Background music: Sonata a Quattro No.3 in D major - Allegro - Gioachino Antonio Rossini (Sei Sonate a Quattro per 2 violini, violoncello e contrabbasso - 1804).

    • @kirkmattoon2594
      @kirkmattoon2594 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not Beethoven, as Sam Z says, but as someone else has mentioned, Rossini String Sonata No 3 in C Major. I've checked, and that is really it.
