This is so beautiful! I just did it on my hair, and I liked the topsy-tail parts so much that I just kept doing that all the way down instead of the bun. It's such a beautiful "braid," and I'm so excited to show it off!! :D

im a brunette and I got the same hair color. medium blonde base and light blonde highlights. def makes twists and hair styles pop. sucks to pay $250 and sit for 3 hrs at the salon though. at least its only every 3 mo :P

gave it a touch of my one but it turned out gorgeous :-)
So pretty! I can dutch braid but for some reason a frech braid will end up looking a mess. But I will keep trying. I gave up this morning after 5 times, but tommorow a will try again

Any tips for doing this without bangs? It just doesn't look right when I try it...
Love it! It seems like it would hold up really well too. How do you feel like this style holds up? Would it last through a work out? I have to work out and then go straight to work so it would be great to have some cute styles that could survive my workout.

One thing you could try is skip the topsy tail at the end. You could also try creating a messy bun at the end. :) I'm not Annie but I hope this helps!

bomberdils You can still make the braids on either side and then maybe improvise on how it will look in the back. That's what I do and it turns out nice, and I have long thick hair!

I just can't use bobby pins on my daughter's hair, it doesn't work, They don't keep the hair in place, any tips? Thanks.
you can spray the bobby pins with hairspray for them to grip
Try spraying a little bit of dry shampoo in her hair to give it texture so the bobby pins dont slide around as much
