- If you've watched the other version of the original Cathedrals on TH-cam, then this is not the version you've seen. The Cathedrals had so many requests for this song that they did it two nights in a row, and this is the second night's performance, which shows much more power and spirit.

Danny KokerJR the Count on Counting Cars talks about how proud he was of his Dad, Danny Sr. on the piano and he should be. He traveled with his Dad and family at a younger age and wrote songs and also traveled with Rex Humbard. He's had some pretty cool experiences growing up and also builds some pretty cool hot rods.

Hard to believe all these guys are gone. Was honored to be part of Bobby's funeral. Was part of the choir at Glen's funeral. While singing with the Weatherfords, I got to be around all of these guys except for Danny. Good times and memories. I was always asked if I was related to Glen. I think I've finally found the missing link in our history.

That's Danny Coker. He was the original piano player. His son, Danny Jr, has a TV show called Kounts Kustom and he restores cars.

Most likely one of the greatest natural tenors ever., in the class with Denver Crumpler of the Statesmen,

Exactly. I loved to hear Denver Crumpler even when he was with the Rangers. I was a small child when he passed away. But, thanks to TH-cam I discovered his beautiful voice. Larry Ford is a given as a God given tenor voice. Denver and Larry both have beautiful Irish tenor voices.

Searching for the best superlatives! Wow! The singers define gospel, the pianist shines! I just read that the Counting Cars guy is his son. This is why I read comments. Thank you for edifying us in all ways. Such a blessing. Such talent!

@@Royer_Boys Glen was the official lead singer, and did often sing the melody, but usually, the “baritone” was singing a harmony higher than Glen.

That’s Danny Koker. Not sure if you’ve seen Counting Cars on the History channel, but Danny Koker Jr. (the Count) is this piano player’s son. He was a fantastic musician.
@@brandenblackwell9116 Yes, Danny Koker the great gospel piano player and singer. I loved his performances back in the 70’s with Rex Humbard. I wish I could find his music on TH-cam.
