While Sarah’s color palette is not what I would usually choose, putting that aside, I really enjoy how she goes through the design process, step by step, start to finish. I wish she had a current regular series. I miss watching her.

Agree re colors. I normally love her choices. The green light fixtures style wise ok, but the shade of green was not great.

What a winner! And it isn't even blue! Tommy + Sarah's invisible spot-on instincts for scale and pattern are really obvious here. Tips like lighting work areas well, finding vintage pendants, customizing cabinetry and using budget as a tool rather than a constraint -- are extremely useful to the civilian decorator!

Well done....I like the green included...if I live with a white kitchen for years, wouldn't want more white, flat cabinets with no grooves make sense. Laminate counters still are very practical solutions that last years as well. Moving sink to another location can take a lot of plumbing work.

The pattern on the counter reminds me of Spaghetti-Os. The kitchen is colorful and functional, and It's got an element of fun and whimsy.

My dream kitchen color palette is inspired by the artichoke. Cut it open! It has deep plums and soft browns, and a range of greens.
And I probably would have flipped the spaces, budget allowing.

I won't put alcohol with children stuff in the same closet! But I like the kitchen,it remind me of our kitchens here in Europe, because they r as small as this one many chose to add vibrant colour, because it does brighten small places. We had a red one but I have to say that u grow tired of it and often dream of changing the colour of ur cabinets so make sure to always put neutral floor and tiles, also avoid too much accessories with the colour u chose ,go neutral and when u change the cabinets u won't have to change tiles and dishes too. Green is a tendency in Europe lately.

One element is definitely missing: a high chair! Although I enjoy seeing the final result, I often think of how things will function once the decorator leaves. And, I hope the family loves green; it would be nice to hear that they had some input into that color choice.

I love Sarah and Tommy's work although this one I question...
I find no sense when a decorator goes with white or something equally as pale upholstered furnishings for a home with young children. Is there any water proofing or fabric protect product that would manage all the ongoing inevitable stains?
An interior design rule I have always remembered is don't use green for bathrooms or kitchens or if so be very careful where, how much and hue. Freshco grocers I say is the best example of this really poor colour choice. If you have one in your neighbourhood take a package of fresh meat to one of there green walls or shopping bags... yuk, it instantly appears as rotten, left too long on the shelf meat.
In a bathroom... pick the wrong green and watch ones complexion go from vibrant and glowing to gaunt and ghastly I think I am going to be sick.
Here the green is mostly below the counter so it maybe squeaks through or not???
