I like the tile used as baseboard and I like the curtains however I would have put the stripe on the outside. Glad they got rid of the corner tub, but wished they had kept the toilet closet and definitely kept the double vanity and in a lighter color.
Another win. No surprise there. I love your attention to tiling detail. For years, I’ve wanted a runner look in my bath, which I wish was as large as this one. Tommy, the shower is genius. Without the trim it would have looked like a ‘90s leftover.
Lots of good ideas! Love the colors and suggestions for changing seasons. The only thig I would have done differently was losiing the double sinks, I think having two sinks is always a plus if there is room.
Personally, having a tile "runner" sounds like a good thing, until you realize that many people put rugs down in their bathrooms for comfort. Gorgeous result, AS EVER!
Does anyone else laugh out loud from Tommy’s responses, even the simplest, dry, “That’s good to know,” when Sarah enthusiastically asks Tommy what he thinks about 20% off on tile?
It’s just beautiful. But when you get old you think about things like cleaning the whole outside of that tub and that glass shower. The first thing I see is the housework. Lol. Hopefully they have a housekeeper.
I’m surprised a lot by your taste and your configurations I am pleasantly surprised how wonderful it comes together and how beautiful it looks😍. A question on this episode; why didn’t you put the chair with the vanity I mean I thought that was the whole purpose of finding a chairI see it somewhere off on another wall🤔🤔🤷🏻♀️😀
The bathroom is a good size yet the door swings outward and into the bedroom. Substituted a soap holder in place of a niche in the shower that could have held more. That would drive me crazy. A medicine cabinet over a tub seems awkward to use. Wish the vanity and medicine cabinets had been painted and not dark wood.
This bathroom is wonderful, you may have broken a tile at the store, but my husband and his father had a toilet fall out of a box and broke into many pieces at a box store!
Oh no! That must have been so stressful! I’d probably start laughing if I shattered a toilet in a box store, but only because I would be so embarrassed and nervous, and not sure what to do!
Felt myself nodding each time Sarah explains her design decisions, esp when she points out places to splurge and places to economize. Only ?? in my mind was Sarah's appearance: black tights white shoes? Talk about outdated, ugh.
The removal of the wall for the 'water closet' was the smartest choice in this bathroom. Vanity/make up in a room where there is steam and others???Never will that make up table get used. Good thing it can easily be moved to the bedroom. The separate shower/tub is luxurious looking but a silly silly silly waste of space. Reality is not part of Sarah's world. Adore her lessons in tile use. Tile is tile is tile no reason to spend designer price per just be careful how you lay it.
Newest treads setters are putting tubs into the showers and surprisingly when done right there so Vegas Glam... How about those Rain Showers ?? Oh there aren't any.. or they forgot to mention ??? As is , it Looks Great... but that's my Opinion & I can be Rough... Love How the curtains were done but hated hearing her say cut off top of Mirror... Did they do it... As that mirror was very Interesting & Uniquely made !!! Either way , even though no one's knows the answer, the Last overview looked great.... But aren't sure about medicine cabinet positioning , but that's why Sarah's the Designer and These Two, Tommy & Sarah , Are One Very Dynamic Team... !!! Love Them, Together they Always Rock!!
Tommy - The mirrors are the same because everytime you look in one, you see yourself! Hilarious.
Thanks for repurposing or donating what you can!

I love when you and Tommy work together! You remind me of a brother and sister having fun while working! Beautiful!
I find it amazing this couple only wanted one sink.
Damn ,the combo always surpass themselves!! I just love this bathroom! The shower is classic and beautiful.

Thank you Abode. I always loved this episode and how they used fairly inexpensive tile to create a beautiful custom shower.
Sarah's designs amaze me over and over - i wish i could hire her services
Love this Bathroom, beautiful, elegant, money saving, relaxing bathroom. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love that best of the best redesign!
I liked the bathroom before with its practical & dramatic lay out. It just needed some simple updates.
Just a stunning makeover. Was wondering if Abode has any old Candace Olsen hgtv shows? Her talents are right up there with Sarah Richardson.
omg, this is brilliant
You beauty, Abode :D :D :D - COFFEE and enjoyment time. Thankity thanks; and, Happy New Year!
I love how Sarah thinks, never going for the obvious!
I would like to see the finished bathroom at the end. I would prefer two sinks and a separate toilet.
This is stunning
Beautiful!!!

Being older...the first thing I thought about was that slick tile on the floor.
@@dresser6135 😂Maybe Sarah and Tommy can do some old people/lazy people redesigns. 😂😂😂🤎
Yes, the bathroom looks great but I covet all of Sarah’s blazers/coats!

Beautifully Done...
Beautiful as always!
Amazing
I am always amazed that you hardly see hanging toilets in the USA. They are so last millenium there
She can make the ordinary into a palace!
How does one get to the cabinet above the tub without standing in the tub?

Is there any towel storage? TP storage?
Not 12 years ago, hon, lol.

1:11 "This is a vision towards the future that never took place cus here we are standing in the future and..." Hillarious
Hurray for donating the tub, the sinks, and the counter to charity! Reducing waste and getting a tax credit: win/win.
Well, it IS custom!
I liked the original,it just needed brightening up.
