Thanks Sam! I was all over the place on that front 9. I’ll be bringing out our video on how I reduced my handicap on Sunday so look out for that everyone!
I shot 89 (my best round) a few week's ago then, to go into the first medal and shoot 132 was demoralising. And to see a 9 handicapper 18 over for 6 over makes me feel better 😆 Well done Tom, your very entertaining and love the channel and the absolute bandits channels. Love the 18 hole vlog.
Hey CK. Glad you enjoyed the video. That’s why I started this channel, I really wanted to showcase what golf looks like at different handicaps. Do you see everything from the good to the terrible rounds. Dw about the 132 you’ll learn and move on for the next round 👍
This was one of my fav vids of yours yet! Can definitely see the improvement just based on how you recovered over the full 18! I did this two weeks ago at a course I don't usually play where I live in Melbourne, Aus. I shot the worst I'd shot in ages on the front 9, 20 over, but then had the back 9 of my life and ended up back at my handicap anyway, what a ridiculous game golf can be sometimes aye!
Hey Zach. Love this comment. Working hard on the always trying to stay present and make the next shot as good as possible, despite how bad the round might be going. That sounds like one hell of a round. Well done on the recovery 🔥
Your front 9 looks like my last couple of full rounds, nothing going right!! How did you manage to recover as at one point it looked like you might of fancied just walking off and heading for the 19th!
My thought process is, you could walk off and go back to your office and do some work. Or try and make something out of the bad situation. I’ve shot 1 under through 9 before so why not now. You never know when your game is gonna click and you’re gonna go on a heater
Your swi g looked very stiff on front 9...maybe you were fighting the wind and muscling it? Back 9 looked much smoother. Well done for hanging in there.👍
Yeah it definitely punishes any poor swings/decisions that’s for sure! Absolute beast of a course, really enjoyed it! Came up a couple weeks ago. How are you finding it?
Just a observation when you are putting you look like you are rushing maybe take your time to line up your ball and read the line 🤷 might not help but just a observation
I do cut all my putting routine out each time and I do line up the ball but I think you’re right I do still feel a little rushed when putting. Think it’s a combo of filming and holding people up that can make that happen. I’ll try and slow down next time 👍
It was great to have you back up and what a last 8 holes Tom!!! Really tough conditions.

What a slog, I've have nightmares about that 3rd hole still haha. What a course though. Thanks to England Golf for having me!
Thanks for all the support guys! If you managed to make it to the end of this epi you’re a real one haha. What an ending though!
Oh Tom what a rollercoaster 😂 what a tricky course
Haha I knew you’d love this one brother 😂

Me and 3 mates have just booked for Portugal March 2025 (my 40th) Looking forward to see how you guys get on out there in the upcoming videos
You are gonna love it mate. Super Bok is the beer of choice in 🇵🇹. I think that playing abroad in the sun just brings another level to golf
What courses are you playing?

Well done for hanging in there.👍
Yeah nothing was clicking on the front. Tried to relax and swing easy on the back and it seems to have worked
Tbf them conditions to play in seemed like something else!!
Haha the wind was mental. It was a war of attrition in the end.
I recently joined Woodhall Spa. Great course, but very unforgiving! When did you play?
