    Dozers were more efficient than the rotary plow? I am surprised. I rode the White Pass & Yukon in the summer of 1978. It was magnificent!

    Seeing two class 70s or even s-118s on a snowblower train must have been quite a sight. There’s currently two surviving class 70s in operation, albeit on different sides of the US.

    What happened to the Rotary Snow Plow now?

      They are both out of service but I don't know where they physically are located.

      @@trainclaude there is one at the Cumbers & Toltec that has returned to life.

      It was on DVD but has not been available for many years. Maybe you can find a used one through an amazon.com search.
