I have pretty bad anxiety and have been having issues going to bed at night. I usually watch your videos during the day because they are so calming but last night I decided to rewatch a video of yours since I couldn't fall asleep anyway. Lo and behold I woke up this morning, rested and unsure as to when I fell asleep. Thank you for being so calm and sweet. It really seemed to help me fall asleep!
This is lovely - and yes I agree, Andy's videos are incredibly soothing. I'm so happy for you that you had a good night's sleep. People generally don't realise until they experience a run of poor sleep themselves, what a difference even one decent night can make. Here's to many more for you! 🤍⛺

Yes, its loverly to fine corners of the net where everyone is loverly. A bit of a tangent, but people are always nice on knitting groups/ sites as well.
When I was a child in the 1970"s I used to have a clear "mushroom" umbrella. This tent reminds me of that umbrella. It did not work well but was quite fashionable for the time. I am fearful this temt would not work well but, in its one way, looks good. I love your videos and am still working my way through each, every night. Thank you for these peaceful and entertaining videos!
I was thinking the same thing, and I remember those umbrellas. They had more of a hemispherical shape than the normal ones. As for this tent, if I had to give it a name I'd call it The Jellyfish.
I bought a hot tent a few weeks ago and went to set it up the other day, you have no clue how happy I am to hear I'm not the only person that takes 3 hours to set a tent up the first time 😂 only takes about 15 minutes now.
Took me close to 2 hours to get our camp ready last weekend. Setting up a bell tent on a hard pitch is definitely not easy when half your pegs just get bent in half when you're trying to hammer them in
@@kiddwong4186 Yeah you aren't kidding, my tent is a pretty pricey Luxe tent, very nice material, but of course I can easily bend the pegs with my hands, a quarter of them are already deformed. Luckily I found some long lag bolts and they surprisingly worked like a charm.
Sir Nice video. I like your videos, interesting values, I always watch your videos as you got a very nice smiley attitude and the way it presents and has good explanatory stuff over the videos. Thank you and we enjoyed them well sir. Keep it up..❤
When I worked at a sporting goods chain, I always told the people buying tents to set them up Before they went camping! Especially if it was a guy and a girl. I knew that the girl would make sure that someone knew how to pitch the tent. Especially when you explain that how hard it is going to be in the dark when the Sun goes down! Usually I would get a strange look and a slight nod. As if the guy was remembering that very thing! I once saw a lady poke her boyfriend in the side, discretely though. Kinda of funny... But always check out your gear Before you head out to the middle of nowhere. Get used to it first, before you need it. And a last piece of advice and I'll stop rambling, honest! Your brand new tent is NOT seam sealed at the factory! If you want a seam sealed tent then you will add at least 1 to 2 hundred dollars, USD. More if the tent is larger. Cheaper to do it yourself! Just set up your new tent, preferably outside, and apply the sealer to all of the seams. This will block up all of those sewing needle holes from the sewing machine. One package was only good for a basic size tent. Get enough to do the job. Or the lady that you convinced to go will wake up when it rains and says, "OK, that's it. We are going to the hotel!". Happened to my friend, at the Grand Canyon no less.
I found Andy's comments, when he was inside the transparent hot tent at night with only the fairy lights and the fire in the stove glowing as his only source of light with that amazing moon outside, quite endearing. He said, ”It's surreal", "It's like being in a snow globe" and " I feel like a goldfish" which perfectly described this camping experience. I am glad you had a great time Andy. It didn't rain with gusty winds, you were warm, dry and comfortable and you got that surprising tent folded up and back in the bag without difficulty! 😊
Always something different! The little stove, the springy foldaway see thru tent, baking malt loaf for breakfast, and seeing you so happy and relaxed not having to fight the wind and rain for once! Lovely!!😊
I cracked up laughing when the tent popped out at the beginning. Should have taken Mark along for a laugh. Glad the tent stayed up for you. Good to see that you’re trying different ways of camping. Love your videos Andy and the things you cook.
My aunt used a camp oven for years on top of one of the stove burners. She was frugal and thought it was cheaper than lighting the oven. She would stack on top also to keep stuff warm. Thank you for bringing back some good memories. ❤❤❤
When pouring high viscosity things out of a jar (like the malt extract or honey etc), when you've poured enough, you can just twist the jar so the liquid breaks of, then continue twisting it until the rest gets back into the jar. So basically just use gravity to get it back in the jar without leaving a mess
Another interesting video. I love your sense of humor. I don't believe I would ever be comfortable camping in a clear tent out in the forest somewhere. I would use it in my back yard while I was watching the sky.
I have no interest in camping but I love watching this guy setting up, cooking his food etc. He's also got such a happy disposition 🥰 I find it relaxing to watch just before I go to sleep 😊
Andy love how you are demonstrating different things to camp in! Letting everyone know that even if you dont have the expensive stuff you can still go camping and have fun!
My brother used to winter camp up in Minnesota, but had to stop because of back issues. He has had surgery and is doing well. I bought one of the RSP knives for myself and I think I am going to order one for him for his birthday next week. Maybe he will get back out, but if not, he will have a nice knife around the cabin.

Another great video, Andy. I've been binging on several older videos of yours. Several hours ago, I wondered if you had something new, but had to get to work before checking. Lo and behold, as soon as I checked back into YT this afternoon, here was your newest one. Great work, great personality, calm and soothing personality. I know it's hard work setting up camp and cutting all that firewood. I know it's hard work of a different kind to do all the editing and other incidental tasks required to publish these. Thanks for sharing and letting us live vicariously through you as you document these experiences!
It is great to see how the stove/oven combination work together. You did some complex cooking/warming/baking in this one. The moon and the rosy morning sky made wonderful images.
I only went camping twice on my entire life (I’m 60), and you make me want to go hot tenting in the woodland 😊 that tent looks amazing at night. I have seriously been looking for an inflatable hot tent with carpet flooring (because I want to take my shoes off and put my slippers on 😂 and get comfortable). I also want that wood burning stove with the oven 🤦🏽♀️
Me too except I have only slept in a two person tent in my backyard. I only made it half the night. I didn't have a fire, food, water or any of Andy's fancy gear. Worst of all the tent smelled extremely mildewy and I was hungry, thirsty and extremely bored. I want to go this spring but none of my girlfriends want to go. I'm waiting... someone will have to repay a favor and they will be my lucky camping partner for a day/night.
@@5954ldydi haha I used to enjoy camping but my wife loathes it, she likens it to "going to sleep in a crisp packet, and waking up in pain in a wet crisp packet" (which smells of mildew)

This video was by far the nicest one. Just talking into the camera and saying things like, what am I doing here , why do I do the things I do and literally just being you. I swear it felt as if I were sitting right there with you. You truly are as genuine as they come. Seeing your excitement as you were talking to us and looking all around was so down to earth. I see, you're one smart and funny guy. Stay true to yourself and most of all , don't lose that great sense of humor of yours. I really enjoy your videos! 👍
I love the fact that you just go out and play in the woods. It doesn't have to be serious although you've definitely done some more "serious" bushcraft videos but playful, smiling Andy is always worth watching.
Nice one Andy. When you were setting up the power bank, my 1st thought was you had got some sort of cordless toaster🤔😂😂 With Malt loaf cut longways, gives you a nicer slice.
The joy on your face and in your voice is very evident that you are living a great adventure! And.... you still make mistakes which keeps you real - re the tent door 😊 G'day from Australia 🇦🇺

I like how realistic these videos are. He does not pretend to be camping in some remote part of an untouched forest. It is nice because the point of the video is to show how well the camping gear he has works, not to put on an act.
Great video Andy, you looked as though you really enjoyed that, The malt loaf you made looked so nice, I bet that was so cool camping out in that tent looking up at that beautiful full moon, Thanks for sharing 👍
Just wanted to thank you for making your videos . I used to LOVE camping when I was young and had a husband to camp with. But I am old now and can't anymore. I really missed it alot, until I found you on you tube. I have watched the other guys, but you are my favorite. Just wanted to say thanks.
This has to be the weirdest, funniest, heartwormiest video you ever made. Thanks so much in particular making and putting this video together. Your so amazingly talented and enthusiastic when it comes to camping. Out of all your video's this definitely is most enjoyment video you've made. Of course that's my honest opinion and an extremely respectful way. Most of your video's I've watched bout 20 times this one treble that. I actually suffer from anxiety and depression also have dyslexia and PSTD. So watching your video's really claim myself down in relaxing comfortable manner. Thanks for making these videos and I will look forward to future camping videos soon. I won't comment on every video you do but they all great in there own right. Your a breath of fresh air when I watch your video's, may you continue to make camping video's and thank you. Happy Camping my friend 👍
Oh man, that ridiculous-looking tent cracked me up. Made my day! Were you the same guy who once camped out in a cardboard box in the pouring rain, or was it that Canadian guy? Being transparent, I can only imagine how incredibly hot that thing gets at midday in the summer. Could probably boil an egg inside, no stove needed, and speaking of which I really like that portable stove. So practical with the hangers on the side to dry your shoes on. My own tent is a boring old 4-man Coleman tent but I like it because it has an integrated floor and screen windows, so it keeps the creepy crawlies out when it's all zipped up. Love the video, and love your positivity!
Andy, I must take my hat off to you. Whilst Mors Korhanski might have approved of your super shelter for me it comes under the heading of, "just because you can doesn't mean you should." THAT said, yqour malt loaf looked exquisite,as did your lovely supper. I doubt I'll ever camp as luxuriously as you did but camp I shall! Last December I moved to the state of Utah, more exactly to the Wasatch mountain region. My video this spring shan't be as misty as yours but I'll do my best to show a Rocky Mountain adventure. Keep the videos coming, please!
Great job Andy! You have become a part of my anti anxiety therapy. Love your sense of humor. You mentioned feeling as if you were in a fishbowl! 🤣😂😂You are so talented and entertaining. Please don’t go Hollywood. Keep it real as you are. With love and admiration from Minnesota, USA❤📷✨🍺🥧🫛☕️🪵
I like watching your videos. No threat of bears and thier cubs coming around your campsite. No groups of raccoons slashing your tent panels at dusk. No bugs crawling through the leaves into your mouth while you sleep or spider visits any time of the day. So vastly different here in the states and then of course the nuts up at night creating mayhem just because it's a Thursday. These videos use the same equipment but in a all together different efforts. I enjoy people camping in Japan for the same reason, the unrealistic expectations I have on American camping. Where you are a lot of women solo camp as well, fearless. Amazing. Keep posting...it usually helps me sleep and form foreign camp sites of my own 😊 Thank you Sir
American here. I’ve heard British people talk about mushy peas before and they always sounded gross, but seeing them for the first time, they actually look like they might be good. 👍🏼 Love the vids, keep ‘em comin’.

It doesn't have to be serious although you've definitely done some more "serious" bushcraft videos but playful, smiling Andy is always worth watching.
good fun handy for growing tomatoes
Love the clear tent! Cooking of course is SPOT ON! Thanks for sharing.
Nice one Andy. When you were setting up the power bank, my 1st thought was you had got some sort of cordless toaster🤔😂😂 With Malt loaf cut longways, gives you a nicer slice.
The joy on your face and in your voice is very evident that you are living a great adventure! And.... you still make mistakes which keeps you real - re the tent door 😊
G'day from Australia 🇦🇺
10:37 always love Simon's saw in action! Still love you chopping down the wood! We've had unusually warm weather here in Oklahoma, but today is cold! Had to break out my Kent hoodie! Cheers! 🍻
I've been watching ur videos at night before bed. Find them so relaxing and peaceful. How u manage to get "good night sleeps" in some of these tents is beyond me 😂
Me and my 7 year old love watching your videos Andy! They're so therapeutic
I'm totally addicted to your channel Andy! Love your personality and I can see you love what you do! Best wishes to you and look forward to seeing you do some camps here in Scotland ❤
I was on my family WhatsApp earlier, Myself and my 4 kids...spread around the isle of wight and the mainland.
I thought id be funny saying "im watching a guy making a tent out of bubble wrap....madness right x?x
My oldest son replied is the guy from kent...love his vids.
I was surprised, thought they would think i was mad lol.
Loved this see through abode.
Though....too spooky for me.
Especially with the owls.
Keep doing what you do Andy ❤

Thanks Andy for your videos!
Loving hearing the birds in the forest!
didn't realize how badly seeing metal spoon on metal cake tin would get me but there you go, learn something new every day. love your channel.
Hooray!
Time to sit a spell and see what Andy has in store for us.
(But jeepers, I think this is quite the tent experience!)
man i love all this excentric mess of a camping lol, all the foldable steampunk heating and the seetrough tent lol keep it up man
I like how realistic these videos are.
That looks great ,I think it’ll be be great in the rain seeing all the rain drops and the sounds relaxing
Just stumbled into this. Low key unintended asmr. Love the chill vibe.
This is the opposite of stealth camping. Maybe onstage camping? Or show camping?
I love your videos, thank you for entertaining me!
Another quality video Andy! Very creative. Beautiful settings and the chorus of birds awesome.
Andy , have loved your camps over winter . It’s important that you enjoy yourself and that’s what we enjoy . Your joy is infectious xx
Andy, I must take my hat off to you. Whilst Mors Korhanski might have approved of your super shelter for me it comes under the heading of, "just because you can doesn't mean you should."
THAT said, yqour malt loaf looked exquisite,as did your lovely supper.
Cheers, Andy! You always make me smile.
I like how you didn't test this out before going out in the woodlands, that reaction is gold!
THIS MEN IS AWESOME EVERYTIME HE HAS SMILE ON HIS FACE THIS IS LIFE ALL ABOUT
Great job Andy!
Amazing.
Keep posting...it usually helps me sleep and form foreign camp sites of my own 😊
Thank you Sir
American here. I’ve heard British people talk about mushy peas before and they always sounded gross, but seeing them for the first time, they actually look like they might be good. 👍🏼 Love the vids, keep ‘em comin’.
Such a relaxing treat to watch your adventures. You really go the extra mile with your cooking....The things you create are hard enough to do in a proper kitchen,,,,Yet you do it under the stars.
Yes ,Idahoan instant mash is the best!! They are, in my opinion, better than real potatoes, maybe that's just me . Thanks for another fun adventure with you we love them 🥴😎❣️. The new tent is very cool😊
