@The coo - king I used to work as a landscaper and we had a private community that we maintained for an HOA. One of our clients is a lawyer and he had constant harrassment from the HOA president. Fines for no reason, warnings etc. Constantly saying his yard was not well maintained(there was no issues whatsoever), until one day he got a fine for 10k because they were doing a transition to more water saving landscapes, but he didnt want to get rid of his grass so we modified everything else to water wise plants except the grass. He got that fine and well he was a lawyer, so he took his kid out for a walk and there was a few places were roots are lifting up the concrete slabs so it was a safety issue. The kid tripped and fell I think he hurt his ankle so he used tht to sue the HOA and won didnt have to pay the fine or anything otherwise the HOA would have to him damages. So they backed off did a sloppy job repairing the sidewalk. It wasnt the only HOA where things like this occurred where the "president" acted like a tyrant. Thankfully I have the option to not be in an HOA.

I used to work for a private patrol company, and had the unenviable task of doing parking enforcement for several HOA's. 9 times out of 10, the association bylaws were absolutely tyrannical....and God help you if you towed a board member's car, even if they were breaking the very same rules they asked you to enforce on everyone else. In some of these places, you needed a parking permit to even park IN YOUR OWN DRIVEWAY.

Those longer ads are basically scams by the advertiser because skipping an ad nets no revenue for the TH-camr no matter how long the ad was and how much you viewed. HOAs often attract petty people with Napoleon complexes. I know many who will never again live under a HOA...it can easily become a tyranny where the only escape is to move out.
@The coo - king I used to work as a landscaper and we had a private community that we maintained for an HOA. One of our clients is a lawyer and he had constant harrassment from the HOA president. Fines for no reason, warnings etc. Constantly saying his yard was not well maintained(there was no issues whatsoever), until one day he got a fine for 10k because they were doing a transition to more water saving landscapes, but he didnt want to get rid of his grass so we modified everything else to water wise plants except the grass. He got that fine and well he was a lawyer, so he took his kid out for a walk and there was a few places were roots are lifting up the concrete slabs so it was a safety issue. The kid tripped and fell I think he hurt his ankle so he used tht to sue the HOA and won didnt have to pay the fine or anything otherwise the HOA would have to him damages. So they backed off did a sloppy job repairing the sidewalk. It wasnt the only HOA where things like this occurred where the "president" acted like a tyrant. Thankfully I have the option to not be in an HOA.

I used to work for a private patrol company, and had the unenviable task of doing parking enforcement for several HOA's. 9 times out of 10, the association bylaws were absolutely tyrannical....and God help you if you towed a board member's car, even if they were breaking the very same rules they asked you to enforce on everyone else. In some of these places, you needed a parking permit to even park IN YOUR OWN DRIVEWAY.

Update to the first story; the civil case was dropped, but the EM ended up Stalking OP for a while, but long story short, she put A DEAD ANIMAL on her porch and she tried to break into her house but failed and got arrested and ended up going to jail for a few years.

Several things, the watching of a longer videos normally brings a bit more pay, unfortunately TH-cam is dumb so the ratio isn’t linear.
Those longer ads are basically scams by the advertiser because skipping an ad nets no revenue for the TH-camr no matter how long the ad was and how much you viewed. That one for a HIV medicine brand and one for the Navy are both really annoying for that reason, 6 minutes and 10 minutes respectively.
