After years and first sub-4 SUV in the segment it’s still the most powerful. This itself is enough to justify the quality and handling. Had there been 1.0 Ecoboost AT it would have been my first choice. From back it still looks stunning, only issue I see is from the front it’s not refreshing because it’s keeping the similar look despite facelifts all these years.
Ford should launch more facelifts of Ecosport just so that Faisal can review them again and again.😁😁 And we can enjoy them too Faisal in Ecosport is a beastly combo

I thought the interior was very comfortable, and also like the dash layout. It drives pretty good, even with the 1.0L 3 cyl engine. The road manners seem good as well.
I find it hard to take this ( diesel ) over the competition anymore, especially with the news of Ford stopping independent India operations, and the feature deletions. If it had made more power and torque, around the range of 105-110 bhp and 250nm of torque ( ameo which costs much less has a stonker of a diesel with 250 NM of torque ) and had a six speed gearbox for the diesel, it would have been fantastic. Also the SYNC 3 is needed instead of the cheap FlyAudio crappy system, IIRC it is now restricted to the Sports variant. The extra gear really helps in reducing stress for the engine, on the highways.
Had a 2013 EcoSport. Was a great car. Drove it till 1,25,000 kms. Sold it and has booked an EcoSport S. Will get it in a week's time. It's just simple that once you've owned a Ford, you will drive only a Ford for good.
Really love this car...Hope ford whenever it brings the next gen keeps the soul of the original ecosport as fun as this car is and not based on the manindra xuv 300..

Just wanted to know Do you feel the steering wheel gets little more sensitive after crossing 90km/hr and has a little more vibration ? Or is it normal to car behave such way on high speed.

I have driven a 2 lakh kms driven ecosport diesel. Picks up just like it's new. Ford service center guys says diesel can easily run 5 lakh kms. Petrol they are not sure since the engine is new.

I reckon ford should bring more sedans rather than crossover there's a wide gap in their portfolio. After the 10lac ecosport then there's Endeavour. Bring Fiesta sedan to compete in city's range, FUSION/FOCUS SEDAN in corolla's range and perhaps a crossover in COMPASSE's range

Replacement is being worked in collaboration with Mahindra. Unfortunately market is not too positive for Ford to bring more European models.
