Small jacks are actually very good eating, cut out the blood line and they almost taste like mangrove snapper. Ladyfish are also edible, just spoon the meat off the bones and they make tasty fish nuggets. You could've really filled the freezer!
It's best not to add up gas, tackle, boat, motor, or trailer when looking at cost either😂. All in fun though. I 100% agree that catching our own fish is a better source of nutrition than most things in a grocery store these days. I enjoyed the fishing but also liked the tortilla recipe and the rolls from the last vid.
11:16 Those are the perfect keeping size for eating! Once they get bigger, they get full of worms. In South Texas, they school in 20 or more. Also, respecting the fish, is so important. Most won't understand, but I always spike them to create a quick dea*h. Thanks for the video dawg!
Hey lawson love the new form of catch and cook content! I recommend getting an ikejime fish spike as that most efficient way of dispatching a fish! Love the way you give credit to our Lord and respect his creations as you harvest for your family.
great video! and i gotta say once again, you are doing it right! Glad that you kill the fish before throwing em‘ on ice. It‘s just being as „respectful“ as you can be while harvesting fish. Thx for doing all this! Big Love from germany dawg!
Hey good timing! I had a stellar day Saturday, caught and released probably 2 dozen Snook, 1 Red, and about a half dozen Trout and kept two of those for Trout tacos for the family on Sunday!
Next time you cook tortillas make a dough ball and use a pot to flatten it out, should get perfect circle everytime . Also if you have a flat pan cook them there it’s easier to flip
Amen! I usually eat seafood 3-4 times a week, that's 50%ish. We spend tons on gear and such, may as well eat good. Been on the sheepshead good and they taste great! Glad you bled em out too. Great video!!
Fish market sells fish cheaper than you can catch yourself with fuel cost and time spent. We need tge inshore catch and release to preserve fishery. Some people keep everything thdy catch

We call the weak fish white trout and it does save money hunting and fishing for food especially if you don’t have to spend a lot on fuel to go harvest your meal it’s always the best feeling when you cook fresh after busting your butt getting it
Thank you for your personal prayer that your not scared to make public. Theres lots of blasphemy on fishing vids. When i hear it, i stop watching. God bless you and your family brother.
Slick vid. remember, be careful with your olive oils. Make sure they list 100% extra virgin, cold pressed. And try not to heat up your olive oils (makes it less healthy). Try to stick to lards or coconut oil when heating oil and cooking with it. Save the good olive oils for sauces.dressings.
That’s definitely not a weakfish I’ve caught them in New Jersey! Weakfish actually have a color pattern going down their back and have bottom yellow fins! Lawton’s fish had no color pattern!
Blue fish - In South Africa we call them Shad/Elf, glad you kept him. You have to eat them the day you catch them and they will be awesome, a day later and the flesh gets soft and weird.
The fish at 13:20 is a silver / sand trout. Very getting eating as well. But I toss them back because they are rare. Also when you are catching jacks and ladyfish 9 out of 10 times youre working the bait way to fast. This time of year need to be slow and on the bottom.
Bro we see big schools of black drum swimming all the time in NW Fla. Its very common to see 50-60 4-10 lb drum swimming together in schools that will usually take most artificials. Its pretty common. The 5-7lb ones are delicious!😎

If you want to catch fish, you need to make your own chum to use and attract snapper. Super easy to catch a bunch of fish when chumming. I’m sure you already know this. Chum balls also to utilize cast net for live bait.
Assuming those of us who like to take pics of our catch, whether laid out on the boat or hanging from a board, don't have respect for our quarry is just plain wrong. I live and fish in South Texas and have the utmost respect for the fish and their addition to our diet. To assume otherwise is offensive to me, and im sure other tx and louisiana anglers. Loved the prayer. The camera work was a little iffy though.
Congratulations on hitting the 200k That's an incredible growth from 14k in just a few months - what strategies or investments did you implement to achieve this remarkable success?
Hello, did you achieve such biweekly returns? I'm a newbie and I've lost a lot of money investing on my own. Please how do I go about it, the year has just started how can I make profit?
You're correct!! I make a lot of money without relying on the government. Investing in stocks, BTC, and XRP and digital currencies is beneficial at this moment.
As a it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Ann Marie strunk has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.
Wow I'm shocked you mentioned expert Mrs Ann Marie strunk, when someone is straight forward and good at what she does best. People will always speak for them.
I love your content, but if I was a takeoff months at a time for work, I would lose my job. I’m just curious this is how TH-cam works. God bless you and your family brother , love the direction your content has taken!
Have been watching your videos for years love your content man
Awesome video man! Nothing better than a father putting food on the table. Hoping to do more of the same myself up here on the space coast!

FYI, always good to eat the blue fish first…doesn’t freeze well and not great after a couple days
Freezes much better in a vacuum seal bag than ziploc, especially if you introduce a marinade to the freezer bag
Video was awesome. I’d watch these every single time
Great vid! Fish won’t curl on a pan as long as you put skin side down first. 👌🏼
Dude amazing looked like a great way to make a delicious meal 🤙
Buddy fisherman & chef it's awesome.. blessings..

My local ramp. The west side 500' to the north there is a cut into the mangroves. I Bass fish mostly but it's a good little cut. Outgoing tide is 💯.

How do you like the Bate’s reel?
Your respect for nature is awesome. Good job man
Small black drum are very underated for table fair.
That’s a white trout dude. Identical to a speck but without the dots. Good on the frying pan as well
That’s awesome your fishing in my locals spots!
13:05 that's a sand trout, they are abundant here in Texas. They are great eating.

Lawson, those weakfish are nothing like a spotted sea trout in terms of eating. They're not good to eat!! Good call throwing it back.
down south u can catch enough snakehead in 1 day if u walk enough canals to eat for weeks probably ! and one of the best tasting fish we got here

I have eaten almost every fish you can think of in Florida, they all tast like fish, just some are more exceptional than others.
Awesome video!!
That was a huge sand trout.
Lawson, do you ever fish pine island sound?
What shrimp plastics are you using ?
Let’s Goooooo!!!!
Deer hunting has a decent payload of meat and is cost effective. Makes for some great content also.
The double jack hookup was wild
Great video. What camera do you use for the one that’s on the center console?
To be clear, lard is very specifically rendered pork fat. Fat is fat, lard is a fat. Great day on the water and a great cook!

I was pretty opposed to keeping fish for many years. Now I keep most legal fish that God sees fit to bless me with.
Sand trout! Great to eat.
That was awesome. It was awesome, it's werking dogo.
With cost of gas driving and on water is it really good savings with bag limits? Honest question

Why not keep the jacks? They're meaty... just bleed them properly and they're good to go. Smoked, fried, BBQ etc
Jacks taste terrible. That’s why

What fish have the least worms! That trout is a beast!!!
Ignore the worms. Once the fish is fully cooked it’s fine
Pretty sure trout season was closed when this was filmed according to your snook season timeline.. trout closed Nov 1- Dec 31
13:01 we call those white trout in Louisiana.
13:01 Possibly a sand seatrout?.. they are very close in looks
Grey trout or weak fish
@@ThatOneKidRyanYes. Sand Seatrout and White Trout are the same thing.
@@outcastfishermanWeakfish is a different species. I’ve never heard of Grey Trout
I feel same about respecting the fish. hate seeing people holding ten bass up like six packs of beer.

saving money by catching fish 👍
spending more than what you saved in gas
😎
great video!! 🩷❤️
Never seen someone bleed a speckled trout. It aggravates me as well when i have them all over the bottom of the boat. Louisiana problems i guess
My Dawg!!!!great video....
such respect for the fish...u r awesome!
Love the prayer
Here ya go
White trout maybe?
We call em sand trout in nwfl
they need to ban keeping seatrout in the IRL like redfish... way too few around nowadays
Bass hook sets lol

Wife’s camera skills leave a little something to be desired 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Shouldn’t eat fish more than twice a week. These backwater type species are high in mercury and pcb’s
WHAT IS UP MAH DAWWWWWGS!
White trout not a weak fish lol
This vid was filmed months ago , snooks been closed essay
May you all live long and healthy.
R most of your videos in Stuart?
OMG He’s using a net! Who are you and what have you done with Lawson?!!!
That fish is called a week fish
Close but this was a Sand Seatrout AKA White Trout. Both unregulated though so could keep either way
Is that per month or per week lol if a family of four is only spending about 600 or 800 a month they are eating nothing but hotdogs n ramen
Sand trout 🤘10/10 filming because Sadie got to say hi lol
Speckled trout tacos hit different

Don’t fishing to the legal limit, fish to your personal limit. Have more sides ready with the fish so you have to take less.
