Thank you! It really is utterly amazing, the country itself has so much to offer from hiking,mountains, forests, national parks, incredible wildlife to utterly stunning deserted beaches. You really can’t go wrong (unless you don’t do well in bumpy cars 😂)
My thoughts! Outstanding views, You must be super fit, suckers for punishment lol, what if you needed the loo while trekking up there? Worried about coming across snakes. What were you carrying in your backpack?
Views were amazing. Madagascar has so much to offer! Haha I (Natalie) struggle quite a lot with my breathing when going uphill so we always have to stop a lot to catch my breath. Not necessarily a fitness thing I just have small lung capacity so can’t get my breathing right 😂 David on the other hand is like a mountain goat leaping up no problem 😂 If you need the loo there is a huge open air toilet you can use 🫢 Thankfully one of the (many) advantages to Madagascar is that there are no dangerous animals. So hiking is really pleasant no worries of bears or snakes! And finally in our backpacks we had 2 litres of water (essential as it was pretty hot even though it was winter), usually some snacks/lunch, sun cream and sometimes we took a raincoat although it never actually rained
