Agree 100% - addressing the problem in an Islamic country is responded with "no one owes you anything" or "it is impossible someone like X would ever do anything - therefore X didn't do it and point is proven" keeping the problem how it is - and they wonder why their government are generally more openly corrupt than western nations.

Translation of the Quran should be based on the weights and biases of the environment people live in and since a translation is not available as per the weight and biases of the western environment, frustration of muslims living in the west won't go away. Preaching won't help in the age of tweeter. Allah has made his speech flexible enough to accomoadte not only the weight and biases of every enevironment but also every single individuals. Proof (Sultan bin translation)
Chapter 3: verse 7: It is He who revealed the Book to you. Some of its verses are absolutely clear; they are the pivots of the Book. Few others are elusive [politically correct, adaptive to your own weight and biases]. As for those in whose hearts there is deviation, they follow what is elusive thereof, seeking mischief [miss adapt his own weight and biases], and seeking for its [politically incorrect, biasless] meanings, while no one knows its [politically incorrect, biasless] meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly confident in knowledge say: “We believe in it, all from our Lord." But none will be reminded except those of understanding

To any Muslim on here who thinks this is the best idea after growing up in a western country. Try a temporary move first, then tell me how much less sin there is. Every sin that exists in the west exists in the east and believe it or not, a large number of people in Muslim countries don't really care or actually may despise Islam. It's not a 24/7 hajj. You most likely have no real connection to the culture, you probably won't find a decent job and if you still work from a western country then it's not really moving to an Eastern one to begin with. And many who move to Muslims countries suddenly go back to their western country whenever there's any health issue. I feel this desire to leve and go to Islamic countries is like this University MSA Islam that pretends like there's nonproblems with Muslims or Muslim countries and you will become an amazing person simply by moving. There's a lot to consider before making a permanent decision like this.

You should listen to authentic scholars like Dr Zakir Naik, Dr Israr and Sheikh Asim al hakeem. The surah Nisa verses that he recited and which he says are vague are actually very clear on staying in non Muslim lands when Muslim lands were available. This is with regards to those Muslims who didn't migrate to Madina (Darul Islam) and preferred to stay in Makkah (Darul Kuffar at that time) due to their families and their businesses. The angels will curse them on their death. Anyways, you can't expect a scholar living in Canada to say it's haram to immigrate to Canada 😊

DR Shabir expects wisdom in bucket loads.
People need to remember why they came in the first place and also realise that things are going to be different.
There is the cultural part and also the religious part ie the values you cherish and your road map to live lby faith.
There is no guarantee that children will take on your faith no matter what your faith is.
In the West today we have everything and it's all instant, we have learnt to expect instant gratification and the more we bury our head in the hedonistic consumeristic and of course the sexualistic trough the emptier we become as we create spiritual emptiness in our lives.
My own experience as a 70 year old born in London is this.
The 50s were a simple age, an age when the UK was culturally religious in ethical values, but religion was never taken seriously by the majority.
Slowly change and erosion set in, the freedom ro shrug off oppressive values.
Go ahead indulge in commumerism, fill your minds with TV and radio, indulge in as much sexual gratification as you want, same sex or otherwise and let's do it with PRIDE.
Churches are empty or tourist destinations, the few successful churches espouse Karaoke or showmanship Christianity of entertainment and it all gone sour.
Is the West athiest, agnostic or what?.
I think it has shrugged religion but has created a spiritual vacuum that materialism doesn't fill.
I think Islam is beautiful, Jesus taught Islam, his life was surrendering to the will of his LORD.
Should Muslims move back to there cultural heritage?, my view is they should remain and do what Allah wants them to do and that is to be the salt of the earth, to love others and to make people who are spiritual vacumns to say I want what they have, PEACE.
Our bodies are nothing more that a material method of transport foe our spirit and soul whilst we serve our tour of duty on earth.
We have the use of things whilst here but none of us own anything and when our material transportation decays and we return we won't be taken houses, cash or any duty free items with us.
I think it's good to fall face down and realise every single sub atomic particle in the universe including the material of my body is because ALLAH Is ,was and always will be.
No mortal man, no clever scientist can ever comprehend that eternity is beyond the Bounds of the universe which is our prison ound by time and space.
Muslims need to shout from the minarets of the heart that Allah is one, Allah is our refuge, Allah is eternal and eyond the universe, Allah has no equal.
Muslims need to stay and conquer the heart of the West with LOVE.
This is the striving, the highest and most honourable Jihad of Allah.
Western media has focussed on Jihad as violence which certainly has ellements of truth and Christianity has done the same.
The true message of Islam is to conquer the heart soul and mind so if you all bunk off back to Islamic lands then this won't happen.
    You need to stay.
Forgive me for typos, I don't like typing on phones and tablets

Kudos bravo brother, very concise n accurate description of materialism, spirituality, faith n Islaam. N y the west(all humanity actually) needs Devine Guidance.
BTW Iam not implying even tiny bit that those who proclaim or identify themselves as 'muslims' r role models for anyone but the Creator n Sustainer's guidance definitely is for all humanity n must reach them.
This is a sacred duty of every learned muslim as per the Quraan whether someone has the character of a role model or not is a separate issue all together but majority confuses these two things. Majority of 'muslims' don't actually know much Islaam but follow certain cultural traditions n rituals !!

@harooniqbal2041 I'm acutely aware of my mortality, that I am not a permanent fixture and that I really own nothing .
My dad 9used to say DV short for the Latin term Deo Volente or God willing in English, I prefer the Arabic phrase Inshallah.
When I say I'm going to do this and plan this I am very aware but it's God's grace.
Do I please Allah, often I feel I fall so short and I'm not doing to well here on planet earth.
What many in the West fail to realise is to take God from a Muslim is like tak8ng your heart away, ie YOU DIE.
I think the same away,MY BElief in God is part of my DNA.
Back in the 1970s there was a Christian singer called Larry Norman, he wrote an Album entitled Only Visiting this planet., what a great sentiment, and how true, but how many actually believe it.
I see today how we are brainwashed beyond imagination by consumerism.
Create dissatisfaction in your life and tell people you will live the dream with a new car, what ever.
The other thing is how many recognise and give thanks and praise to Allah for anything???

Shia are at the bottom of the Caste System! Wake up. I have lived in Muslim countries for about 40 years and they all have a Caste system. If your white non Muslim you are the King. Racism is the norm and so is bribery to release you from your sponsor. You will be chasing a renewal of a work and residence permit all your life. You cant be free in a Muslim country. Even the clerics in the Mosques are appointed by government and are therefore not free to preach what they want.

Another fact to consider:- you will have no rights in Muslim countries which are rich or doing well while the country you originally fled from has major major social, political and cultural problems which will take generations to fix.

The social , political and cultural issues are shaped by mainly by religion. Only way for betterment of individual and society is to be free thinker who makes decisions based on reality no on some medieval dogma.

The arguments go against going back or migrating to a muslim country because in western countries people can use credit cards, buy home on mortgages, buy luxury cars on instalments with interest and many more. It’s hard for people to leave the luxuries and comfort because of their weak iman.

Islam is the true message from God almighty. Allah is one and only and Muhammad is his messenger. Allah does reward those who accept the message and abide by it. Allah will punish those who deny (in the hereafter).
So stop this nonsense game. Open your mind. Accept the truth.

There are many Muslim majority countries, but how many of them are Islamic?
If they have secular constitutions like Turkey, for example, can they really claim to be an Islamic country?
What about Afghanistan under Pashtunwali law? Though the people are Muslims the law is not 100% Islamic.

In the hierarchy, what's better? A good Muslim, a corrupt Muslim, or an OUTRIGHT KAFIR? Just because Muslim countries aren't perfect is an extremely lame reason to prefer to enslave ourselves to outright kuffar! There are dozens of Muslim countries, find the least corrupt one that you can make a move to, make the intention, ask for Allah's help, and go. And the truth is you don't actually need citizenship to live anywhere. You can live legally without citizenship. I know people personally who lived and died without getting citizenship (on purpose) even though they were eligible for it.

U r missing a very important point that
    1. Qurnbis not vague ar unclear, this is us who have lack of wisdom, Those verses are for the Muslims of makkah when hijra made medatory to all Muslims by Allah and his messenger.
    2. There was easy to move at that times as there was no visa or etc.
    3. Right now all Muslim countries has dictatorships and poor.
    4. All Arab countries who has God gifted money are recist and no human rights or liberty to speak there, we called them ummah but they are soooo mean to us.
    5. Allah wants us to mingle with non Muslims so Isthey will find Islam.
    JazakAllah

    No Hijra from Canada .
Or America or London or Australia .
Hijra is already done . Make the country in which He or she is in , make it better .
Mohammad did make Madina better . Yousuf made Egypt better .He served the country during famine .
In the countries mentioned may not have food grain famine , but there is scarcity of sincerity and good ethics . Do stY and improve self and society . Just like our prophets did .
Our prophets behavior is our templates to live .
Read read the last verse of surah kahaf .
Muhammad s.a. Said : I am only a human like you , I have been inspired that God is one only and those who know will meet their lord then do good deeds .
Peace to our Prophets Muhammad , Yousuf , Jesus and Moses , they all migrated and we have migrated too .
We should embrace the challenges and make the place better . All this requires sacrifice and service until our End .
Muslim countries have problems of their own , problems of monumental proportions .

So it's better to help developing nations that fight against you and in which you will always be a second class citizen, than to reform and fix your own? Just be honest and say you love the commodity and material benefits of living in the west, Allah knows our intentions.
