@@saperis Quick question - so if we move all the folders we have into our shared drive - do the files that someone else authored move too and we can access it or is it too late?
@@RoeGabriel_i_EMPOWER Do you have a My Drive folder where other people created files? Then yes, there files should be available to all Shared Drive members if transferred into a Shared Drive.
Hey Chanel, there's an iphone app called Google Admin, for Google Workspace Admins. Have you heard of it? Apparently theres people complaining that its a useless app. Do you know any admins of Workspace accounts who operate many of their functions from a smartphone? Or would they need to be at a computer?
I asked some of my Google Workspace admin friends. The app has apparently gotten better through the years but it‘s still limited. If you want the full admin spectrum you‘ll have to use the desktop version.
Hey I have a Problem with my Google Drive Shared Folder. So basically the Company I am working for created a (Shared Folder) and they said that I can upload as many Files as I want on it, the Problem is, every time I upload something in that Shared Folder, it takes my space, and apparantly it should take up their space. How can I fix this Problem?
Not knowing more details I'm assuming your company is on a Google Workspace price plan that limits the total storage they can have on Google Drive. I would reach out to your Google Workspace Administrator for further help.

What are the benefits of creating separate Shared Drives or create only Subfolders under one Shared Drive folder?
The managing of who has access is easier on dedicated shared drives, in my opinion.

As far as I'm aware, there is currently no option for Google Workspace Admins to add custom limits to the uploading of data to Shared Drive.
