How To Replace a Circuit Breaker - How To Upgrade a Circuit Breaker

This shows how to remove an old circuit breaker from your breaker panel and replace it with a higher amp circuit breaker. Whether you're installing a QO or QP circuit breaker it's the same process. make sure to turn off any power going to the breaker panel. My breaker panel happens to have an off switch right inside of it but that isn't always the case. If you're installing a gfci circuit breaker there's one more wire to connect, it will be a curly white wire usually.
