PWM trolling motor REPAIR

This is how i used a PWM to repair a 55 Pound thrust MotorGuide trolling motor and show how it is neatly installed in a plastic ammo box with wired quick couplers.
I am not going to be leaving a link to the PWM that I bought off Amazon. The AMP requirements for your application may differ. The main reason I'm not leaving a link, i cant recommend this seller.

yep check ebay and amazon for a pwm, you may have to refer with your own shopwillie for specs needed

I heard of others pwm boxes over heating, they were in smaller boxes, but in ur ammo can could a small pc fan be hooked up in the box, im assuming to the same screws where the batt hooks up to. Just a thought before i try making one, thanks, great video

Hi Frank, I used the ammo box because I chose to go with a larger PWM for my application. I'm sure you could hook that fan up I dont see any reason you couldn't and put it on its own switch. I have not experienced any over heating with this one
