Andy and Hugh taking the piss out of Dara was amazing.
Rustymcnut bear in mind it all started with Miles Jupp’s joke.
"does it burn anything other than Bunsen".everyone thought it was a joke but little do they know it was a literal question that Rob Beckett still doesn't know the answer to
Just when you think it’s over.. Hugh: “I work with Dara O’Briain 😂
For anyone that doesnt know, Dara has a physics degree.
And a phenomenal head.
And he presses a little button.
But all he gets to do in this bit is press a little buzzer
Good joke mate.
I know it’s why I only mock how little he does on mock the week, the popularity of his other shows, his legs, his hair, his resemblance to mascots and the fact that despite being perfect for the role he never played Mycroft Holmes.
But I will not mock his intellect, I was a student of story structure economics and mathematics. Physics, chemistry, and biology is utterly lost on me.
I always love when Rob Beckett explains his joke afterwards. "ee's old, innit" and "ee's racist innit"
"Let the protons see the electrons" holy shit I was actually crying with laughter
My face had never been straighter after he said that
Bomberman101 explain the joke to me please i REALLY didnt get it.
I think it's a mick take of the show take me out
Protons and electrons are opposite charge, and opposites attract
Zing!
Things you wouldn't hear on a show hosted by Dara O'Brien
+MrCool2monkey impossible scenes we'd like to see. unlikely things to hear on mock the week
My entry: quality
* Ó Briain
@@saoirsedeltufo7436 * O'Brian
Jamie Pollard wrong
50% of this is aimed at Dara O'Brien
Really, you think so?
I imagine it would've been funnier if I had ever heard of her before.
Him
The host of the show
* Ó Briain
Oh god, everyone has been going all the lengths for Dara O'Brien jokes and they all were hilarious, especially when Andy Parsons referenced his buzzing pressing shenanigans! XD
I love how the first Dara joke opened the floodgates
PHD - Phenomenal head dara XD
I'm crying this just turned into a Dara O'Brien roast
Mock -The Week- Dara O'Brein
It’s funny how it only took two jokes for everyone to start ripping on Dara for the rest of the round.
Tell a group of comedians not to make jokes about something and guess what happens
"he's old en he"
He's dead en he
@@barry9174 lmao rip
RIP Sir Bruce
My enter:
"Well, I was working in the lab late one night when my eyes beheld an eerie sight. For my monster from his slab began to rise and suddenly to my surprise...he did the mash."
ROFL in 2020
He did the monster mash
@@Shakes-Off-Fear
It was a grave yard smash
The Dara bashing at the end tho, that's why this is my favourite one xD
I love how this turned into roasting Dara
Really nice to see a true 1080p. I laughed so hard that I'm stopping it and re-watching the whole episode.
Dara was really under attack here!
Phenomenal head Dara.
I love when they roast Dara 🤣
I love the Dara jokes! 😂😂😂 Hilarious!
After the first Dara reference they all wanted to roast him lol
"Scientists have discovered a black hole so big, Dara O'Briain's head can fit inside it."
I had to do it XD
I love how they just started joking about Dara😂
When faced with all the evidence, this flat-earther has accepted that he was wrong and that the Earth is actually spherical.
3:26 It’s like Drew Carey once said in a similar situation: “I have the power to hire and fire.”
I think Dara O'Briain is a legend, too!
I always like it when they joke about Dara 😅😅😅
Dara o'brein often had the piss taken out of him but he always laughed it off well
Unlikely things Dara would say needs to be next
2:06 - And the roasting began . . .
Did anyone else notice @ 1:49 Tiff tells an identical joke to Holly Walsh's one in series 8, episode 4, unlikely things to hear in a science programme?
Perhaps I am sad for noticing that, I'll grab my coat now...
SamOwenI totally, I heard it and went...uht! stolen from Holly Walsh....only Holly finished it with an explicative....way funnier.
SamOwenI when she said that i though the same thing. all they are doing is stealing each others jokes.
+SamOwenI That's not the first time jokes have been repeated.
+SamOwenI Saw that too, though Holly's delivery was better.
totes
"So you're saying you stole all the manganese because you have a fetish for cartoon legs?"
They need to do things dara o brien would never say
"LOOK AT ALL THOSE CHICKENS!"
Hugh has really aged recently, still the funniest man alive however
+Thomas Hague He's probably made to look like that with the Beard cos he may have been working on a Film or TV series at the same time he did this.
Scientists in Leicester have proved that there are many deficiencies with I before e except after c
I love how they all Joke about Dara at the end.
The Dawkins joke made me cry
Ed Byrne chose the wrong show to miss this time.
According to scientists, a buzzing sound can be heard from anywhere in the world when a great joke is told
Holly Walsh did the exact same Dawkins joke five years earlier.
2:06 and so the roasting begins
1:49 that Dawkins joke was copied from Holly Walsh in a previous episode of the show
Keeps getting better with each episode!
32276j monkey Not a problem chap, been couple years since I started watching season one and ever season to date, to get caught up. Might have to revisit those episodes. Although Andy and Hugh are the most consistent. Hilarious when Dara became the topic of several jokes recently.
Appreciate that you were not a wanker, looking for attention. May search for some of the best of or bits that had to be edited out. Still amazes me how freely they can speak on the BBC, compared to American non cable channels!
When you enter Dara Obriain in the TH-cam search box...great minds think alike.
''Here's the spin off of One Born Every Minute it's One Pops Their Clogs Every 3 Seconds''
Is it me, or is Hugh Denis the only really funniest one there?..
ConstantlyCurvy xo frankie boyle seemed to elevate the rest of them, back when he was still there.
i only watched it for frankie, in hindsight.
Frankie Boyle is not funny, he VILE! Period!
ConstantlyCurvy xo hahhaha you said vile and period in one sentence.. hahaahaa u r just like franky.
ConstantlyCurvy xo thats just your bad opinion. this show died when frankie was laid off.
and why was he laid off? HMM!
1:04 It's funny though, because Palin actually accepts the teachings of evolution. Shocking, I know.
Too hard to keep a straight face at 2:49
Okay, so now we’re going to dissect frogs. If you do get grossed out, ask Chris Garton to help you with all of your dissections. (True story of what happened in biology class in high school)
Never. EVER. Show you are uncomfortable to a comedian. It's like throwing yourself to slaughter.
I like that look Dara gave. Like Jaysus, what did I ever do to you?
The Dara o Brian grilling
Phenomenal Head Dara
Dara O’Brien what would we do without him
3:17 -- Considering that the category is "Things You _Wouldn't_ Hear on a Science Documentary," Romesh's apparent suck-up is actually more of a subtle dig at Dara. 🙃
Ahahah my man! Let the protons see the electron
Two greats who are sadly no longer with us. RIP sir Bruce Forsyth. RIP professor Stephen Hawking xx
Sarah Palin......almost forgotten about her. Thanks for reviving the memory. Like John Cleese told Michael Palin: «You’re not the funniest Palin anymore».
''For years he tried to work out one equation and now he has. Wayne Rooney finally knows that 2+2 equals 4''
1:57
straight ripped from super hans on peep show; 'this crack is quite more-ish'
0:49 oh
Oh, and Bernie Sanders.
Here I am in the sea where I have found a pineapple.
Hopefully there should be a sea sponge and their pet snail inside.
How does Dara put up with these guys?
Contractual obligation.
What's P45 a reference to?
It’s equivalent to a pink slip here in the U.S.
I can’t believe Stephen hawking is gone
He will never do that show with Dara O’Brian wearing a silly hat
anyone know where the hat reference is from ?
They just ROASTING him
@Thomas Hague: I think it's the beard making him look older.
I dont understand what he said in 1:40... captain?
Denzel James Lim cup of tea
We have finally found out the how crops circles happen. Its just a tractor with a plougher that drives around in a circle''
Rob becket stole the cocaine being Moreish joke from peep show and changes crack to cocaine
''Black holes actually do exist you just have to wait until the poppers have kicked in''
Rob beckets pauses at the end are far too long
That chick ripped off the “ Richard Dawkins” joke
isn't this a big mad world but enough about your BMW let's get to the documentary
I MISS ANDY PARSONS SO MUCH
I have got a PHD. a pretty huge (you know)
that was off friends.
"He's old, in' he?"
They have a point though, why is dara on stargazing?
Because he's got a degree in physics and is a keen amateur astronomer?
Frankenstein based on a scooby doo story
From 1 Ó Bhriain to another, sláinte!
A+ Miles Jupp
We lied: the earth is flat.
In this episode of Our Universe, we'll be looking at the rings around Uranus.
Damn I just realized Dara O’Brien studied theoretical physics and maths
And everyone else just realized they would watch a podcast with Dara and Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
1:48 I'm a life-long atheist/antitheist but find it difficult to completely change my language. It's so ingrained to say "Thank God for that!" when your bus finally arrives and difficult to paraphrase it. I've heard Christopher Hitchens say "Thank God". One thing I'll never say/sing or even listen to is "God Save the Queen" - I'm also a staunch republican.
"Oh come all ye faithful"
this would be 10x better with frankie boyle
“Next biology: why is that gorilla so sexy???” SLAGG!!!
Things you wouldn’t hear on a cookery show.
“Now I’m going to demonstrate the perfect way to get that perfect roast. We couldn’t find a cow this week so instead we’re all using Dara O’Brien.”
2:07
ROFL!
I laughed so hard I couldn't breath.
Romesh is friend goals
Welcome to dara o brien get sciency sorry gets smarter
just kidding luv daras comedy but cmon
Just imagine if Frankie Boyle was still on this show and ripping Dara.
''Well i didn't know that snowflakes could make so much noise when they fall on the ground''
