Hey Guys! I am finally painting my kitchen cabinets DIY!!! I am no professional, I am at a beginner's stage and this makeover turned out gorgeous!! My kitchen went from wooden brown color to WHITE kitchen and it is STUNNING!!!! I love it and I hope you get inspired to do a project that you have been putting off for a while! Jenia, you are truly amazing I am always so impressed with your energy and work but being 6 months pregnant with 2 littles, and taking on such a huge project is amazing. You are so incredibly strong, talented, and so organized!! Breaking down the task into small sections and not letting the feeling" I got to get it done" is great. I feel like I have to hurry and finish and by the end, start throwing things back in, not taking time to do it right. Also, it is hard to get myself motivated when I know something is going to take a long time. You are an inspiration!! The kitchen looks amazing and I am glad you made it so beautiful for yourself. YOU Deserve it!!!

Yes, I always seem to put off a project if I keep thinking how big it is or I need to finish it in a day or 2. I found that thinking the opposite works much better - no deadlines, no rushing, no stressing. At least for me..

I painted a. Cabinet with a 4" FOAM ROLLER, left a beautiful finish on the Cabinet. Moved into an apartment & am thinking about painting the as they are worn & about 50 years old. At my former home I painted the counter top as it was wearing & looked like leather. I used an epoxy Almond color paint, followed directions & it lasted 20 years.
Wow! I can't believe it's the same kitchen! It looks so nice! You did a wonderful job painting. It looks so much fresher and lighter.
Great job, I have brown units also and have been thinking about painting them. Reorganized cupboards & drawers today thanks for sharing. wash-sand-prime-2 coats of paint-hang right way up 🙃😆
