- Today the Endorphin.es 1U modules are launched and I had the privilege to make a launch video. If you have an Intellijel 1U row in your case, you may find this video of interest.
Endorphin.es made the modules compatible with Intellijel case outputs and I happen to have Stealth 7U case. Unfortunately I found out my -12V rail was broken so my 'Spaceship' couldn't fly. I couldn't make the video! So I had to improvise while waiting for a new TRS80W board to arrive from Canada. Intellijel support has been amazing, but the board would come too late. However, you can also make a cool video when things go wrong.
Endorphin.es started with TRS stereo outputs on the Grand Terminal, Cockpit & Blck_Noir, but then switched to dual mono from there on the Queen and the 6 HP series. This basically meant you had to use adapters. The Cockpit 1U solves all this. It has one TRS stereo input, and three dual mono inputs, duck/side chaining and a TRS stereo out. You can connect Cockpit 1U to Golden Master from the back, keeping cable clutter 'internal'. It's a joy to patch them up with any sound you can find.

love endorphines. they really do distinguish themselves from everyone else in every way. I've had issues with some of their modules, and I've got two going back to them right now for repair/service. if they weren't so damn good I wouldn't bother, since I've not personally had problems with any other manufacturer. they're great people who make great products, I can't even begin to imagine how hard it is to turn this stuff out, so I give them plenty of grace. I look forward to more endorphines stuff from you, always inspiring
I personally feel it's a company that is constantly improving itself in a direction that's just perfect for live performance. I never had hardware issues with their modules (yet) but I've spent a lot of time sharing bugs and wishes with the dev team. But as far as I know, everything's been fixed and it's super cool to have that interaction.
There are some nice, cheap units for housing 1U modules in a 3U frame. Haven't bought one yet but it's something I'm keeping an eye on.

Hi! Great videos btw, been watching a long time! Do you know if 3-pin Dupont from cockpit 1u mix out to intellijel output1u expander in would work instead of chaining cockpits? I’d like to normal the sum out from cockpit to out1u & use both still
My mistake* looks like out1u’s 3-pin is an output mult of the incoming signal...Does anyone know a way to interconnect the back dupont mix out on cockpit to 2 mono 1/8th patch cables? Getting a eurorack level signal out of cockpit in addition to a headphone out would make it perfect imo
Maybe you can contact endorphines support. Chances are it will work, but you'd better check. I know Andreas designed the 1U modules with tight integration with the Intellijel 7U case. So why not with the Intellijel 1U modules?
Cool Video ! I'm also interested in Endorphin's 1U module, but there seems to be some glitches, do you have any experience?
1. Does COCKPIT 1U still bleed after pressing mute?
2. Does MILKY WAY 1U still have noise problems?
3. Does GOLDEN MASTER 1U have a noise floor?

This is really hard to answer. Golden Master is super silent with balanced cables, absolutely no noise. With unbalanced cables and dirty lines (USB/Power) there's a noise floor but I believe it's my gear, not the module. My experience with Cockpit 1U was mixed. I think it's always 100% loud with digital attenuation so with my rig it picked up static ticks while patching with headphones. Make sure you use a HIGH impedance headphone with Cockpit 1U (300 ohm). Milky Way noise problems have been fixed a long time ago and Endorphines confirms this with the 1U version. Maybe please contact Endorphines support first, or try before you buy.
BTW, Endorphines always work very hard to fix glitches - if any.

I continually fight with furtherrrrr generator. Tuning always seems off.squeals like a pig sometimes needing heavy filtering. I can never decide if it’s better doing bass duties, drones or melody….even percussion. But when it behaves……! Not willing to abandon it just yet.
does ch1 on the cockpit accept mono signals? or do i need to buy some sort of adaptor?
I came here wondering the same thing, I don’t get how the stereo input works.
@@taylorremigi6238 I have the module. U have to buy an adaptor if you want the stereo inputs to accept dual mono from your modular. I believe there’s a setting on the back of the module that allows u to change the inputs to mono if u wish
