Before her audition on NGT in 2014 when she was 7, Angelina commented that she wanted to be a superstar. Then she went out on stage and proceeded to win the Norway's Got Talent @ 500,000. Money was donated to charity by her. Super human being and super singer has already been accomplished by her.
She is a God send , every song , from the time she started singing.. I enjoy watching her performe without makeup,, barefoot, right now that's her style , I hope she stays that way ..
Her originals are all different "What is Life" (classic Jazz); "Oslo" (about her home tow, somewhat mystical); "Shield" (bond style). Those three she wrote the lyrics. The other two were written for her "A Song For A" ( a 200-year-old Burns poem); "Above The Water" (EDM dance music). I think most of her songs between 9 and 10 are just incredible. young teen is a difficult time with puberty and voice fluctuations boys are worse but it happens with girls as well and the singer could become more self-conscience. At 9 and 10, Angelina was fisty and pushed the boundaries. Even though she is amazing now I think when her voice completely stabilizes she will be more amazing than ever and fisty again.
The first time I heard this song, I had a similar reaction to it as Doobie, in comparing the body of the song to the grand finale. However, the more times I listened to the song the more I appreciated the finer points of musicality that went into Angelina's full presentation and have enjoyed the song even more. I have found that the fullest and deepest appreciation of Angelina's artistry always requires multiple listenings.

You will find bad recordings, bad camera work, bad bands.... but you will not find a bad vocal. If ever there was a "perfect" singer... it is Angelina Jordan. A note on the pauses.... Yes you have to search it. In ´Man in the mirror` for Quincy Jones there was something with her mike and bad idea to do that bunch of singers onto the stage. There is a rumor that there was a wrong tone in her occurs with Alan Walker. And there was some trouble by suitabling the lyrics for her age in ´I´ll always love you` @1yo ;-)

I really can't add much to the anything written in the others comments. All I have is I think every time that I will not be surprised by what she is going to do then I am. That ending was amazing I was a little worried she wouldn't get there. Then she hits that last note and covers it that is some big girl singing right there, then it hits you, she's 10 years old!!!! I love this performance. Jazz isn't my main interest. You could do her covers of Lana del Rey's Young and Beautiful, or Rhianna's Stay, or Sam Smith's I Know I'm Not the Only One. I take it you have done her remake of Bohemian. Or her very sad Always On My Mind, or her tribute to her dead friend Avicii Wake Me Up. (I think it was her grandmother, an esteemed artist from Iran, who exposed her jazz.)

Regarding her originals: she wrote/cowrote three songs - "What Is Life", "Oslo", and "Shield" - and they all sound _completely_ different from each other (especially if you use the most frequently requested video for each). The same can be said of her other three "originals" that were written by others. "Song for A" was composed specifically for her to sing (using as lyrics a Robert Burns poem). "Above the Water" probably wasn't written _for_ her, but she was asked to be the "featured" vocalist on it. And "I'm Still Holding Out for You" technically shouldn't even exist, because it's only a "demo" that was "leaked" online. (And a significant number of people happen to think it is her best vocal performance.) It's debatable how many different genres these 6 songs encompass, but a strong case could be made that that number is 6. [grin]
Everyone goes on about the light as if that's the problem. It's not. It's the camera positioning that's wrong. If the camera was central, then the light wouldn't wash her out of the shot.

Nina Simone was the first to release "Feeling Good" in 1965. But it was written by Anthony Newley for the London Stage and Broadway, where it was performed in those places in 1964. Since Nina's release it has been covered 100's of times, most notably by Michael Buble'. She's almost 11 her. I'll have to disagree with you. This is one of the best performances of this song I have ever heard. But I actually like the one better she did six months earlier at the annual summer festival on the Norway/Sweden border. I really can't add much to the anything written in the others comments. All I have is I think every time that I will not be surprised by what she is going to do then I am. That ending was amazing I was a little worried she wouldn't get there. Then she hits that last note and covers it that is some big girl singing right there, then it hits you, she's 10 years old!!!! I love this performance. Jazz isn't my main interest. You could do her covers of Lana del Rey's Young and Beautiful, or Rhianna's Stay, or Sam Smith's I Know I'm Not the Only One. I take it you have done her remake of Bohemian. Or her very sad Always On My Mind, or her tribute to her dead friend Avicii Wake Me Up. (I think it was her grandmother, an esteemed artist from Iran, who exposed her jazz.)

Regarding her originals: she wrote/cowrote three songs - "What Is Life", "Oslo", and "Shield" - and they all sound _completely_ different from each other (especially if you use the most frequently requested video for each). The same can be said of her other three "originals" that were written by others. "Song for A" was composed specifically for her to sing (using as lyrics a Robert Burns poem). "Above the Water" probably wasn't written _for_ her, but she was asked to be the "featured" vocalist on it. And "I'm Still Holding Out for You" technically shouldn't even exist, because it's only a "demo" that was "leaked" online. (And a significant number of people happen to think it is her best vocal performance.) It's debatable how many different genres these 6 songs encompass, but a strong case could be made that that number is 6. [grin]

Everyone goes on about the light as if that's the problem. It's not. It's the camera positioning that's wrong. If the camera was central, then the light wouldn't wash her out of the shot.

When we were young
Nina Simone was the first to release "Feeling Good" in 1965. But it was written by Anthony Newley for the London Stage and Broadway, where it was performed in those places in 1964. Since Nina's release it has been covered 100's of times, most notably by Michael Buble'. She's almost 11 her. I'll have to disagree with you. This is one of the best performances of this song I have ever heard. But I actually like the one better she did six months earlier at the annual summer festival on the Norway/Sweden border. She lived on the same street as Dimash and around the corner from Tiger Woods. She came in a rocket wrapped in a blanket which her family made into the outfit she wore on AGT, with the leftovers making the mask in the "The Show Must Go On" video. Her only "Kryptonite" is the Hollywood Music Machine.. So far, her family has done a great job shielding her. Hopefully she never gets caught up by it.

It's ok if you stop between sequences, but I would suggest not to change the volume of the original video, it is is very akward and it affects the experience of listening.
