Luigi's Punch looks like a slightly improved version of the Boxing game in Game & Watch Gallery 4. However, it uses all the same backgrounds, sprites, characters, and animations.
When I beat Luigi's Mansion for the first time when I was real little, I cried a lot at the scene when they revive Mario. It still makes me cry. And, no, I'm not joking.
10:45 was the most subtle gameplay-to-cutscene transition I'd ever seen 😍 All story-driven games ought to look to Super Luigi Country for a shining example
That "real job with a decent pay" line confuses the hell out of me to this day. Mario and Luigi own their own plumbing company--that pays a literal shitton?? Like, plumbers make bank if they know what they're doing; that's a specialized field.
Super Luigi Country is an "I Wanna Be The Guy" style fangame with the single screen levels, multitude of stuff from different games all mashed together, and lots and lots of bull*hit
I think the Fan Games videos are your best work. I guess cos' it's fun seeing what folks have come up with. It's a lot easier to forgive a game made by fans for being super rough than something you may have had to pay for.
