i know i work as an a/c technician and I've been working so much that it has taken me probably 2 months for finishing my rear door panels and i think ill take about 4-5 weeks more before i finish them but hopefully ill be very happy to because just the feeling of knowing you did it your self gives it an extra way to feel proud of it!!!

Its the truth, was wired to .46. Check out the most recent video with 3 3.5ks. Most of my builds do well on low power
Precisely, loudspeakers reproducing bass DO NOT need gazillion watts to operate, they need strong magnets and clean electrical. The suspension needs to be adjusted as well. Thiele-small parameters teach us that if one pushes, two pulls, if two pulls, one pushes. So you're likely to never have it all, but with the proper engineering at hand you can have a very reasonable and incredibly loud system!
Kudos to you JeepAndBass, I saw how you hand assembled those subs and now they're pounding much better than subs of this class that are for sale, unless we're talking some really big brands and yet it has to be over priced - that's how their management is done. Keep up the great work!
By the way, I am currently experimenting with 14" subs and passive radiators. The goal is to have a budget-style cheap system which reproduces 100 % musically accurate bass and is a flat-line down till to 11 Hz. Cabs, subs, passive radiators and everything beside bolts, wood, metal is hand made by me of course. ^_^

Don't think I heard you say it during the build but what's your ratio and cf per chamber? I'm looking to do a trunk wall within the next few months with 2 12's in a 6th if I have the airspace for it.
+JayyCobb I've been told mine is small and far from being a traditional 6th but it is working much better than expected. It's 9 cubes in the rear and 13 in the front.
