On an IBM Thinkpad t43 1871 with a 60GB HDD and 2GB of RAM, I tried to install Windows 10 Version 22H2, but when starting the installation it gets a blue screen.
Windows10 (1709) successfully installed on a T43 (15", GPU, mSATA SSD@PATA, no fingerprint sensor). But failed to upgrade to both 1803 and 1809 with blue screen. I reckon some kind of driver issues, which I have not been able to identify yet ...
Hi, All. Please advise what Win10 ISO image have beed used - x86 or x64 and the settings (NTFS, MBR and oetc) + soft which you are used for USD Boot creation? I have tried a Rufus with x86 but no luck. Thanks in advance.

Idk why, but I cannot install Windows 10 on ThinkPad T43 although it has a Pentium M 750, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 60GB HDD. I checked the RAM to see if it has errors but all of them have no errors :\
Severus Snape well have you tested installing it on other computers? I use a bootable usb in this video but I think your problem is that you are using a 64bit version of Windows 10 so I would double check because these computers only use 32bit

Magnus Andersson I have the same problem here, when I install the system, I got blue screen and IRQL not less or equal error.

that should be x86 32-bit since the computer is 32 Bit only. The first 64-bit thinkpad is the x60, t60 and r60 core 2 duo version
But my wireless facilities and the audio also disappears after getting windows 10.
Poor ibm thinkpad :(

Severus Snape maybe it’s a bad USB port or optical drive because only one of my USB ports work and my drive is broken

All of my USB port are working properly and I can install Linux, Windows 7 on it :)

The maximum ram accepted in T43 is 2GB. How can you have 3GB????
It is confirmed to be three on my model and the OS sees it and and uses it but the computer will have beep code errors when 4gb is installed
