I would have to agree with you. I've been driving mine for almost a week now and by far this is the best vehicle of any kind I've ever driven and this is my 5th Tesla. Much respect for the engineering.
I can’t wait to get mine!!! So nice to hear someone say nice things about it! All you hear is people talking trash about it. I can’t wait to use mine for work!! I’m gonna have a fleet of them working every day!! I can’t wait to see guys using them for work real work!! Wrap it with their biz name and using it to work. No one has done that yet. I think the truck will be a great work truck!!
Nice review. Love mine. The steer by wire is mind blowing. The tonneau cover with extra storage in the bed is really nice. Also like the auto frunk feature. Sound system is next level. Only thing lacking is FSD but hopefully late June/ Early July. Oh and I would like to get the wheel covers at some point.
Good review. I've had my Cyberbeast for a little over a week. From a pilot perspective, I really like the drive by wire system and the limited degrees of travel in the steering wheel. Much closer to the travel of a yoke in an aircraft. I feel that model S with a yoke would be more at home if it had a similar steer by wire setup like the Cybertruck. I wish the combo rear or front and left/right camera display could be positioned on the left side of the screen when displayed. Not a big fan of bringing my scan from the road to the right side of the screen as too much is lost in the peripheral. The cybertruck is significantly quieter than any of the jeeps and trucks I've owned and/or ridden in. Side note: the stock "mall crawlers" are great for the road but not for off road. I would never think about taking my cybertruck off roading with the stock FS rim/tire combo!
Great points. But I wish it was a CyberSUV: 3 row seats/fully accessible larger enclosed rear cargo option. The tonneau covered bed is inefficient like a stairs closet - just as awkward for cargo storage above as below. Even so I guess it was too much to ask for a roll down rear window - let alone a midgate 😢😅
I hated the pillow like cushy quality of my model y seats. I think the S/X seats are firmer, but more luxurious feeling because of the contouring. Glad to hear Cybertruck is taking a page of that book!
Brian I’m glad you like it now. I argued with you when you were a hater and quit following you because of it! I took some of my friends out on a mountain road in Montana and drove mine HARD. Using the Baja Mode in the rugged setting and 50/50 handling setting, we were flying over whoops, drifting off camber corners, screaming over washboard, deep potholes, etc. it’s so fun. No stock vehicle could keep up with this thing over that type of terrain. My skeptical F350 modified diesel truck owning friends were amazed!
I am a previous F350, GMC 2500, and Tundra owner. I love mine. It's absolutely fantastic and does everything my 350 could do, except tow my 5th wheel. I didn't buy it for that, so not a huge deal at all. Judging by this thing, it won't be many years until the tech is there to create an EV truck that can actually handle 5th wheel hauls (and towing in general) just as well as an ICE. Fantastic truck.
It's a big vehicle. I've owned large pickups in the past. It might be a bit extreme for someone that isn't used to large vehicles. I agree with your assessment it is the best Tesla.
It maneuvers like a Model 3. It doesn’t drive like its size. The steering is revolutionary. Even the wheel plays in to this. A big bulky wheel would diminish its effectiveness.
@@farmerinchico yeah man it’s amazing. I live in Kalispell Montana and have had mine for 5+ weeks. I drove mine to New Orleans and back, and take it off road on trails. The composite steering is AMAZING. 🤩
Hey Brian. Re: point 3 - I think something has changed in the charging algorithm. My2020 LR Y has suddenly started wanting me to charge for 40 min as well. Not sure what is going on.
I’m glad you have changed your mind on it, but I’m so shocked being a Tesla fan like you are that you didn’t like it the entire time if anybody is to trust Tesla, it should be you. I certainly trust them.
Takes a big man to admit when he was wrong. Most won't do it. Every comment you had I agree with 100%. 6 weeks in for me. It's been ultra-reliable as well. Like you said, If I could only have one Tesla, it would be Cybertruck.
I feel sad for you. The only reason to ever buy one is because a person's self-esteem is low and they need to be looked at. There is nothing the cyber can do that a real work truck can't do better. Nothing. So a person bius one hoping to be cool, but truck people just see a poser and everyone else sees a sucker whk spent a hundred grand ro have their ego maassaged. Like I sad, sad.
I hate the fact Tesla jacked the price up 50%+ and canceled my reservation. As such I am looking at the R2 now. I may lease either a 3 or R1T depending on lease deals to get me by for a while.

Thank you for an honest opinion. All the bad ones come from people who haven't even sat in one let alone drive it.
It’s the best thing Tesla makes. I’ve owned them all.
(Sigh of relief) A pleasant, calm, thoughtful video.

I knew you were not a fan of the CT before because of its looks🙂. Glad to hear you like the CT now.

I agree with you! Excellent innovation
From good to perfect via OTA 🤘🤘🤘
I have one on order! July-September can't come soon enough!!!
I would love to have one my garage definitely couldn’t fit it 😂 😊

Thanks for the refreshing chat....I bet 99% of the people you saw in person really liked it....
Great to hear you thoughts on this rather crazy truck, nice to know that Tesla still has it's special sauce when designing new EVs!
Waiting for my order. Good to hear your opinion
A Tesla makes an ICE car feel ancient. A Cybertruck makes other Teslas feel ancient.
Can’t wait to see you’re and what color you wrap it
Amazing wrap job as usual
What wrap is that? That is incredible.
I want one but a smaller trim.

@@wademt Yep, the steering is unlike anything before. It's something that has to be experienced. A lot of features on the Cybertruck are that way.

Nice wrap... it's not 3M High Gloss Deep Space Flip (tm) but it's nice. 😜
Has Tesla said when you get the updated wheel covers? I'm afraid they never will do it.
0:35 Rectoval
What were the watt hours per mile. Saying that it was better than you expected doesn’t mean much since I have no idea what you expected.
For my 1000 mile trip it was 446
I will wait till they have different interior.
What’s the name of the wrap???
I’m glad you have changed your mind on it, but I’m so shocked being a Tesla fan like you are that you didn’t like it the entire time if anybody is to trust Tesla, it should be you. I certainly trust them.
As an SUV, it's great. As a "truck", it sucks hard.

Yup 5 weeks in Montana for me.
Haha gonna buy one i like that
I call it the woke, because it's a wheel-yoke, and I get to troll Elon with it if he ever reads one of my posts.
🤔
Its a cirtangle.
Squircle. No need to reinvent. Squared off circle.
You thought that you'd had all of those things, but you STILL bought the truck! SMDH.
Do you mean hate ABOUT cybertruck? I would hate not having autopilot, I use it almost all the time.
I feel sad for you. The only reason to ever buy one is because a person's self-esteem is low and they need to be looked at. There is nothing the cyber can do that a real work truck can't do better. Nothing.

"the wife"? 1960 called...
Okay boomer.
A squircle is an actual shape, Tesla didn't just make it up, it's just the shape it is.
