My friends literally started a 24/7 minecraft server like 2 weeks ago, they say they want to beat the ender dragon together, and in 1 week or less they have full netherite, and are building these huge structures, towns, (I thought one of my friends builds was where everyone was meeting up but it was just his) - I'm still stuck on iron - everyone is making factions - I'm just trying to find a good place to live
as with every single thing in life playing Minecraft is a skill, unfortunately that means if others skill in this regard is higher then yours, there isn't much you can do but watch them progress, even if they aren't trying to play the game as fast as possible, their form of casual play may just out pace your own, imagine something a friend of yours is good at, now imagine you are trying to pick up that skill, even if your friend tries to go slow, as slow as they can, they will probably still out pace you, no matter how slow they try and go this is what happened when I first introduced my friend to terraria, I was just, significantly better at the game and didn't even realize I was just carrying him, we beat the game and he was still using titanium armor, for context in Minecraft terms, that would be like beating the ender dragon before you find your fist diamond, just, skipping over a significant amount of game progress, but it was because I just didn't realize how much faster I was playing
The best servers are the ones where chaos reeks havoc. Someone stealing everyone's horses Blowing up the builder of your house to avoid payment Causing a war of snowball fights Making a redstone trap without much knowledge only to have it backfire Those are the best moments
I am the farm builder haha. But I love building. It's always my freinds that get bored then I get bored cause I can't show my freinds what I build. I only builds farms cause who wants to farm gunpowder and sugarcane and diamonds and cobblestone e.c.t when you can farm them and do what you really love. BIG OVER THE TOP MEGA BASE! I'm a weirdo, we know :P
This is so relatable. This exact scenario happened to me a few weeks ago. New MC server with friends. I could only play for 1 or 2 hours a day and not even every day. After a week everyone of these "hyper players" was already flying around with elytra in full netherite while I just built my first diamond pickaxe. Server went offline one more week later because everyone was bored already.
For me i try go slow and build a lot, while my friends do nothing except mine and loot everything then beat the game and leave after a week. Then i play for 2-3 weeks extra until it gets boring to play alone and i leave Either that or everyone leeches off my farms and builds without actually making anything themself then gets bored and leaves, and again i play for a few weeks and leave
Hey, awesome video! You described the topic perfectly, and I share the blame as one of the economy/grind guys on all of my Minecraft "two-week-stints" with friends. I personally think that this is kind of exacerbated by the fact that PvE multiplayer Minecraft is essentially a single-player game with people talking and running around in the background. My friends don't really "Play with me", they just do their own stuff in the background and refuse my help/refuse to come help me with anything more than spare stuff they have laying around. I've tried to address this lack of cooperation problem and the longevity issues with modpacks, that add industry and RPG-like bosses, but the problem is that we often have the most spare time to play right around the times when Minecraft is about to release an update. So it's a vicious cycle of 1) waiting for MC update, 2) waiting for mod update to fit new version, 3) enter server, people split off and do their own thing until you're the last one left on the server. There's just no real incentive that makes non-maniac MC players interested in the game for more than one week, and somehow others being "ahead" in resources apparently makes them feel worse, even though they decline offers to actually play together.
its pretty easy make an oracle cloud free tier account and host a server on a VM- i even have a very easy tutorial for it (a google doc i can send link if u want)
As a Bob The Builder, I'm usually left alone when everyone quits the server, I have been using the server as a singleplayer world for 3 months now. PS: hope you get more traction!! great video.
On the toilet rn for anyone wondering
Yeah I was totally wondering
taking notes🤑😤
Read this on the toilet
Ty holy shit
My night is saved
Oil up lil homie 🛢️
This doesn’t just apply to servers either; even in single player basically the same thing happens
I never get bored on multiplayer servers. My friends always leave after like 10 days. And playing alone is just not that fun 😢
Modded servers really extend the lifespan
So true. I've been playing on the same server with my friend for 5 weeks already.
minecraft servers are like sex, you can have all the fun really fast, or you can slow down and have a lot of fun for a longer time.
That is certainly another way to look at it
minecraft players dont know what sex is

I feel that redstone trap mishap

Ain't nothing weird about finding what you have fun with
@Azeree123 yea that's a fair call.

2 years ago i started a fully vanilla server with my friends it's still going today just got lucky ig
For me i try go slow and build a lot, while my friends do nothing except mine and loot everything then beat the game and leave after a week. Then i play for 2-3 weeks extra until it gets boring to play alone and i leave
Either that or everyone leeches off my farms and builds without actually making anything themself then gets bored and leaves, and again i play for a few weeks and leave
Everyone else just gotta go fast
i feel like im the only person in existence who started a server with and it hasnt died (it's been 2 years i made it in 2022)

There's definitely a disconnect with the "community" aspect and wanting to keep playing
Honestly underrated channel and video, havent had those in my feed for a while
I wish you clarified sooner, also essential makes things really easy for the MC Multiplayer experience. it's very easy now a days
I personally prefer vanilla, but essential does look very cool
@@Azeree123 essential doesn't add any modded content?
aternos = L minehut = W
It's really not hard to settup a 24 hour server
I don't doubt it, I've just never had to worry about it
its pretty easy make an oracle cloud free tier account and host a server on a VM- i even have a very easy tutorial for it (a google doc i can send link if u want)
hopefully you won't have to do the first step with essential, even though it is slightly shady
This is actually a really good video and is so true too made me laugh a little too :)
Glad it made you laugh
I think "just take things slow" is a stupid solution to a bigger problem minecraft has.
i love your pfp
Thanks, made it myself
This was a good video, I don't understand how it only has 80 views!
I'm glad you enjoyed it

Don't worry they'll be back again next year
what happens when you fall in to all category's? 2:17
Prepare for trouble, and make it triple
good video, make more
Will do
Just download mods to make it last longer. More mods = more time
I don't have the right degree to play modded Minecraft
my server i made with my friends 2 years ago has no mods its still alive (idk why im commenting this everywhere on this vid lmao)
Or, you know, just play it on gregtek new horizons like a sane player would.
or just play with the Create mod and have it last months.
Just download essential mod

Skill issue?
Sounds like you're all three people combined
