I find this a very meditative piece to play. It doesn't use loop pedals so it takes intense concentration.
I wrote this a long time ago and recorded it on my album 'Ecosticks' with a tabla player. Here I am playing it solo and finding new spaces in it.
I like to use these two handed techniques rhythmically and create calm rather than slap people around the face with it.
When I wrote this these styles hadn't become the meme they are today- it was much more of a voyage of discovery than a race to the peak of virtuosity. - เพลง
Galactic delight !
Conjures up visions to create spectacular creations far beyond the realms of ordinary mundane issues of life.
Thank you-I’m so glad you’re hearing that.
Beautiful piece to wake up to
thank you- was it loud enough? I was thinking of rerecording it…
I love this
You inspire me so much to sit and listen to what the guitar does and wills me to do, instead of forcing through to reach the end of a song. I really started to play more and listen more than I make sounds. This is my kind of meditation.❤
that’s a beautiful comment- thank you
Incrível ! Parabéns ! Lindo momento ! Grata 🙏
Grata Mari, thank you❤
I love the percussive feel of this piece! ❤
thanks Lisa
Brilliant!
Thanks Debbie
Great artistry! Outstanding on the improvisation!
Thank you Terry
Those artificial harmonics are pretty awesome (i guess maybe those are just ACTUAL harmonics), and then you go ahead and split your brain and do this left handed tapping and hammer-ons… pretty wild, and absolutely gorgeous!
thank you- technically those are actual harmonics - because I’m not fretting with the left hand ( I do a lot of artificial harmonics on my singing bowl piece- on this channel) I’m glad you like it, I’m planning another version of this tune to upload in the next week- it has evolved a little!
Superb 🎉🎉
Thanks 🤗
