Just installed this servo on my new scx6 honcho! I’m running it on a 4s battery. Power hobby offers a servo horn specifically for the scx6 and it works perfect!
Hello I just bought this servo and the horn and even with the trims centered there is a huge off set where the linkage connects to the horn . Then I get more right then left . And pointers would be appreciated

I love a good servo. Ive been trying different servos out this past year and I've gone through reefs 555 the holmes the savox and i actually just came across the powerhobby 190mg hv and holy crap guys it's literally 31 dollars and it is a beast! I have it in my cen reeper right now and on 8v and it is awesome I'm just blown away with the quality and power and speed from a flipping 31 buck servo✌️👍👊💪

This is turning out awesome. I wasn’t a big fan if it when it was coming out but with what you’ve done so far is changing my mind.
Looks like those servos are made by AGFRC. If you look the AGFRC 100kg A280BHLW it has the same housing. For some reason, the AGFRC uses half less Voltage (8.4v) with 100kg torque.

Im not a fan of the sliders from vitavon because they have the steps on them. Those are definitely gonna be a hang up point. Cant wait to see the other vitavon you add.

I have the Vitavon ones in black. They're really nice. I agree the steps might get in the way. Not crawled yet since I put them on though.
@@silverbullet126 I sent Arthur a message and asked if he could make some high clearance links and also a set of sliders without the steps. We'll see what happens.

Kg gunkote or cerakote your axles it will help keep them nice. Plus make them smoother

I have a question for you that I hope you see. You have a lot of experience with Vitavon. I have axles, driveshafts and a skid plate on my shelf next to my Honcho SCX6 awaiting my next order. But, If I want to use a 1/5 servo for my steering should I use Vitavon V1 steering servo mount or V2 steering servo mount? And do I need to use the adapter with V1 or V2? My next Vitavon order will include all the supports that have me take the frame apart including the steering servo mount. My last order will be all the remaining items I can install with out taking the frame apart such as the shock mounts, trans case, links, bumpers, etc... Thanks.
Do you plan on getting the Vitavon bulkhead for the Xmaxx? Would really like to see how that works out before I order one,let you be the ginnypig🤣

What size screw do i need to hold horn on?
Can you plug the servo into a battery if you’re running them in parallel? Or will that drain the batteries unequally?
I just burt out my servo like that for running it on thr wrong side. I had it in my kraton 12s convert. Imma replace it but good to know what you told me. So it won't burn running it on lipos by itself it looks like.
I seen the scx6 at the hobby shop thing is huge and has to weigh like 20lb looks bigger in person for sure someone needs to do a speed run with on 8s 😂

Check the washer behind the slipper nut. Some were put on backwards.

Definitely not as good as a REEFS servo, but it might last for awhile.
Reefs has very nice stuff. But I figured it’s time to try something a little different.
All of them are just rebranded AGFRC servos. The 68kg and 100kg. Everything is identical down to the gear stack ratio, potentiometer, motor, and PCB. Only thing different is the laser etched name.
Vitavon looks nice, but I just can't support China.
There is no way in this hobby to not have your dollars go over there. Many of the parts and pieces you think are made and from here…. Aren’t. You’d have to scratch build everything to not be China.
I don't even know why I bought this thing it seemed like it will need $2,000 worth of hop ups I'm going to try to sell it 😑
It doesn’t need hardly anything. Mine just had a steering servo upgrade and I run the crap out of it. Just like any other RC you can dump a ton of money into it or just run it how it is and have fun with it.
