Emily was her *real* name. She was on the run from an abusive ex and went by Jules.
I heard Daneel Ackles was also harassed by Mark thus why the crappy arc Rachel got on season 7 since she fell out of favor with him.

well Daneel only came back for season 7 because she was going to be working with Dan (i forgot the actor's name) and she figured he wouldn't let anything happen to her.

@Leave Me Alone Thanks hi... yep I see what you mean...in many cases u are right...many actors...but I watched that show when I was a kid. Trust me if she even worked on it for a few days, months maybe a few hours at home to remember the lines, she understood who was the character, that's it!( a kinda bad person -very pretty though, lol- pretending to be someone else, with the other name, for bad money... She was paid to break someone's heart by lying and creating a "new identity" with a fake name to seduce him first.)I love this lady I'm not criticizing...maybe I would have done the same cause I forget BIG things too.and she had health issues, and life issues...but this is, a big thing. I'm still surprised( lol sorry)
@@anhphi100 yes she wasn't there for very long but that's also why I'm surprised, few months/few times with these people on the set, and she is has a "key role" in the season she was in, cause of this. And cause of what her bad actions do to one of the heroes. The lies about her identity, the name she totally "created", was a key thing. Maybe the firsr big thing to remember about her days on the set. it was so short tes. then the greedy character left cause she couldn't lie anymore and anyway pple knew who she was... but I'm not hating, since I love her. I admire her, even. I didn't know she was SO deep in real life, not just a cool tv actress:-). I guess she had a BIG BIG BIG life, and the show was only a small part of it. Which is good, good for her;-).

I'm guessing you were referring to the "price attractive actresses have to pay...usually" to be in the business. To have to meet with "Harvey Weinstaien's" who will take advantage if they can get away with it. .
Seems like today this is THE topic online. As there was an article in the LA Times about the price "production assistants" have to pay too. Something most people not in the entertainment business likely never knew happened. That many attractive females have to go through. That few avoid it. Luckily or not.
It's no surprise (or shouldn't be) that Hollywood is a very dirty business (as is the modelling industry,, the XXX...etc.).
And I think we'd be naive to think this doesn't happen out of the entertainment industries. That anytime an attractive girl or woman is looking for a job...there's a high chance they will be "approached" with sleazy come-on lines. The typical "...how badly do you want this job??....". Could be for a job at IBM as an IT person. It's just less likely in a non-entertainment field.
Sexual assault and sexual harassment isn't always connected to attractiveness. Age and and weakness play a huge part in who becomes a target.

A number of the girls on the show accused Mark Schwann, the creator of the show, of sexual misconduct.
It’s absolutely a dishonorable douchebag move to take advantage of your subordinates, and anyone who does definitely should be fired a black listed. But with that said, I personally have no sympathy for anyone so desperate to succeed in their field that they’re willing to betray their dignity and integrity to their boss.
