Yes!! Everyone loved Brooke in the show as she had a big heart, always put others first etc but that’s hilarie in real life. Everyone loves her and she’ has the biggest heart

Knew Mark was a slim ball. Came across as weird in every interview he did. And he was obsessed with Peyton
He literally gave Peyton the worst storylines tbh (worst as in the most heart breaking ones)
interestingly when i watched one tree hill , something felt off when those two were in a scene ( there were maybe two were he was in) and you could tell that she didnt really like that dude by how she looked at him , like i really want to punch you in the face all the time , even though the scene is where he gives her advice and she listens

I was so shocked and horrified to learn about those claims of harassment once Hilary came forward. I understand why she had and still has that fear of backlash but she did the right thing. With all the negative press or comments came that much more loving and supporting her. Mark's reputation will follow him everywhere. He clearly has a pattern of behavior harassing the women of Tree Hill and The tv show The Royals he had been apart of.
Hilarie was always my favorite actor on One Tree Hill alone with Chad Michael. They were very talented actors and the chemistry came off on the TV.
Always had a crush on her. Beautiful and seems like a cool person. She’s amazing on White Collar too.
Started watching OTH for the first time this decade! Still gives me the same feels as when I was a teen!

My heart breaks that anyone has to go through this. If I were to work in a toxic environment, I can leave. It’s unfathomable to think that decision is not the same for everyone. Add on the pressure of not letting down a fan base - wow. I never did like any of the scenes with Peyton and Schwann when he would play the record store owner. They always seemed awkward and uncomfortable... now I know why.
see thats interesting because when i first watched i never suspected a thing. then as im rewatching it and knowing the background i was like props to her acting because i couldn't tell. im also someone who cant hide anything because my face says everything. it sucks that she had to work with him. props to all the females on the show for being so strong.
Dont forget also outside of acting there are lots and lots of people who take shit because they cant lose the job cause they can not pay bills anymore. Its a realy big problem

Hilarie has all her ducks in a row and knows how the world of Hollywood is not healthy. Even if she doesnt work much and stays on the farm it is a smart move and she has already given us one of the most iconic female roles on TV and forever will see her driving that Comet with the curls and blasting the tunes. I will always be a fan of Peyton and Hilarie as well. What a shame Mark was such a douche as he was a great writer and OTH was a great show.
The cesspool of Hollywood hasn't corrupted/ruined Matt Damon, Leonardo Dicaprio, Meryl Streep, Edie Falco, Jennifer Lawrence, Steve Carell, Rashida Jones, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, and many other talented actors.......thankfully. The more talented you are, the less degrading it is.

No Mark Schwahn, creator of the Derek character, did a number on her. Her fears of working with strangers come from the real life trauma that Mark Schwahn gave to her and many of the other women and girls he worked with. Don't diminish a women's real life trauma and fears of being sexually harassed to a fictional role played.

Love Her!! One Tree Hill was not the same without her and Chad Michael Murray. I think someone should pick it up and do a One Tree Hill reunion episode where maybe it takes place at a class reunion or something and Peyton and Lucas come back for a visit and bring their daughter to play with Nathan and Haley’s kids and Brooke and Julians kids. Seems like there is a lot of not closure due to when Hilarie and Chad left they didn’t mention much or incorporate them in episodes from a distance like Brooke or anybody being on the phone with Lucas or Peyton and why they couldn’t be there for things like when Brooke and Julian got married or when Brooke had her kids. I know their exit at least Hilarie was because there was definitely some stuff going on. I loved the first 6 seasons with One Tree Hill because it was definitely a down to earth show. Had realistic setting about love, loss, sports, etc. Lucas and Peyton definitely brought a lot to the table. They should of got the created Mark out of doing One Tree Hill and had another person take over. Lucas and Peyton probably would of been in every episode until the end.

Vlogmaster 91 she alleges being sexually assaulted by showrunner Mark Schwahn on One Tree Hill. She left the show and never reported him at the time. If you look her up she talks about some of the incidents. She wrote a book about it.
