Graduated in 2009, Brooklyn Tech was a special experience. Being surrounded by so many brilliant minds , both teachers and fellow students truly brings out the best in you.

My dad graduated from Brooklyn Tech in 1945. He went on in his studies studying cartography and photogrametry. He received his PhD in 1960, and when he retired, he was the Director of Science and Technology for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

I graduated Tech 1958 Structural (Civil Engineering). We only had one elevator that students could use, and it went just from the basement to the eight floor - no stops in between and it took about five minutes to do that. It was enormous. It could probably hold 80 students. It was used to haul a full airplane to the Aero Lab. I'd love to know what the robotics lab replaced. Maybe the Structural shop?
