@@HehBe-f4z So i have done my bachelor's in mechanical engineering, i work in a plastic company, we make plastic parts for companies like John Deere,Messy Furgeson, Whirlpool etc,i work as a new product development engineer, the work of our department is to develop new plastic parts, the parts are designed on customer end, they share us 3d data and 2D drawing, we forward the same to our mold makers and make parts with certain deadline, it's more like project manager job.
@@rajkishorebehera7489hi I'm from a plastic background too, I was a plastic product design engineer for 2 years until very recently I decided to pursue my bachelor's degree, got a free seat in mechatronics and I'm finding it difficult to study at the beginning of 2nd year can you give me some tips.
I am currently going through the same things that happens to you ,I am taking both Calculus I and physics at same time where I am struggling to understand the concept in my physics lecture class which makes me question my major and my intelligent, while I am trying to maintain my GPA to transit to college of Engineering in the next semester and I am trying to more than ever in my class read more and get helps in the math and physics labs in my schools more option than my previous year.
In the exact same boat as you, except I'm going for Computer Science. Got a D on my first exam but my overall grade is currently a B. My initial approach was to use Kahn Academy and that helped a bit but I've decided it's better to just practice previous questions from homework until I git gud lol.
is this physics 1? this course is usually difficult for everyone. the key difference is how you learn. try to go over the textbook chapter BEFORE the lecture. what i did: open the textbook and find a subject for example: applying newton's laws and then go through the textbook. Then open up a youtube video and search physics 1 force, etc. get different layers and different explanations for things. eventually the overlap can fill in the gaps. then practice, practice, practice. physics in particular is all about practice. unlike calculus, chemistry, etc. i realized physics really only makes sense after you try a problem, get it wrong, then look to see where you went wrong. doing it again till you get the right answer, then trying another one and going through the process over and over. most importantly: dont give up. you're intelligent enough, it's just a matter of changing your approach. also, be honest with yourself, are you REALLY giving it your all? or are you procrastinating? only you can answer that.
I got my PhD in physics from Boston University. I taught a lot of classes there, and I can tell you it’s pretty tough, very high expectations, but it’s the best freaking school. Undergrad would’ve been awesome there, the location is just the best, I will always have a Boston shaped hole in my heart.
one thing I would love to see touched on is how to incorporate this routine with the workload of a stem major. I feel like I have good time management, but the hw takes me so long I rarely have time to study, especially during midterms when things combine together
Man!!! Came on time 👏👏this video I need the most this my first semester as transferred student I the frist week I thought I'm gonaa quit since the work load is heavy 😢😢😢 I wondered how I'm gonna do this!! Thank you ❤❤👏👏👏👏
I am currently a student that failed her second year in college (compsi) and therefore didn't get into the engineering cycle. I am retaking my second year in order to get into an engineering school and your video truly gives me hope, I am already applying all your tips and I can feel that I am getting better. Thank you :)
Thank you so much for this. Adding the last bit about feeling behind is so important. Reminding myself that everyone learns at a different pace and that it's a marathon not a race is very motivating.
I want to go into civil engineering, but didn’t really care about my grades until I knew about what I wanted to do. So this led to me getting a 3.18 gpa, this video really helps.
A good strategy is to be perfect before the final exam. If your current grade is 100 and final exam is worth 40% you can actually fail it and still pass the class. It really helps take the stress away from big exams
Wow I have almost an identical story to you! I’m currently studying mechanical engineering at Boston University, taking a big financial risk to go here, and feeling left behind, this video gives me hope!
thank u bro. i just did kinda poor on my math I test and it was making me feel down. im a pre-med student so i have high expectations for myself. i was questioning a lot. but now i know im where i have to be. i feel motivated to continue on and do better in the future. these tips r very helpful

I wanna quit and switch to the mech eng degree, but it's next year😢 But I will try to implement some of these tools you mentioned❤ Thank you❤
Hello, thank you for the video firstly. Do you have any advice how can I find original problems? My professors ask us problems to make us think out of the box and I am bored with classic problems.

TIip for students: If you have a little amount to study, do as much as possible all the others exams of the assignment from other years
But where would you find exams of the course from other years?
