Brilliant video. Love your reactions to the roads and views. As someone already said, when you thought you had gone wrong you sorted hadn't. If you'd carried straight on through great langdale, you would have ended up at wrynose little langdale junction. The road and views are stunning. If you ever go back , do it. It definitely worth it. Nice you stopped at the Fort. Not many seem to .
Had you carried on down Great Langdale you would have done another pass which would have broughtyou out at the junction with Little Langdale where you hesitated to take the left to Wrynose. Great shots
Yeah, I just looked at that on Google maps streetview, it does actually look like a great route! I was just taking the more direct route to the passes, I will have to explore that way next time.
Actually the road where you said it was the wrong way, would have taken you over the Great langdales and, it comes out at the start of the Wrynose pass, also it's a much nicer route and a lot quieter, try it next time you are up that way. 👍.
Thanks for that! I will have to go that way next time. I was taking the more direct route, but it does look like a nice ride going through Great Langdale!
Love Wrynose and Hardknott, taking my R1 and Daytona 675 over them got me a few funny looks from some of the walkers but it a nice bit of riding even on bikes that're probably not meant for those types of roads. 😄
Awesome ride and views, must do that some day. Test rode the Tuareg a few days ago at Mototechniks, loved it, it's a great package for the price. The salesman there mentioned you, I said that's why I'm here 😁 Really enjoying your content and fun style.
I definitely recommend it, it's great! Oh awesome haha, it is a good package for the price, which is a big reason why I got it. Haha, I love that you both mentioned me. Thanks!
Love Hardknott and Wrynose passes, do them both ways when i go over. East to West is the easier way to go over, which is the way you've gone. Filmed a few times going over on different bikes, just got to take the Tiger 900 now.
@@EdTurvey I've done them in glorious sunshine and when raining as well, which on the Scrambler 1200 XE wasn't fun. I've filmed going over on the Monkey 125, Scrambler 1200 and the wife's Scrambler 900 ( not posted up yet). Bikes I've had over but not filmed are Kawasaki ER6-F and Honda CBF1000F GT. Still got to take my Tiger 900 GT Pro over yet, and hoping to do it before winter really sets in. Best way to do the passes is 1st and 2nd gear, and use 1st for the tricky bits. Other good passes which are easy are Winlatter and Honister, which have stunning views as well.
Good video Ed. Great part of the country. Did it last summer and will come back. You’re obviously starting out but you make good videos. Quick question what mic are you using with the media mod?

Yeah, I see on google maps howe the 'wrong' way would have been pretty great!
Great video and drone shots 👍
Thank you! :D

Haha, props to you for doing it on those bikes! Some places must have been tricky!
Nice video here mukka

That was the first time I've been over them! Very lucky that you've done it multiple times, hopefully I will get the chance again in the future.

Quick question what mic are you using with the media mod?
Thank you, I appreciate it! I'm using a purple panda lavalier mic, but I'm still having issues with audio, so my next step is trying a different mic.
I thought the Tuareg has a quickshifter?
Optional extra.
Yeah, it's an optional extra, the dealer would have to order it in and fit in on the bike if you wanted it. But, I have no need for it really.
