Despite the stereotypes against metal fans, metal fans are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I've never been a heavy metal fan but I went to a concert with a friend once and everyone I met was super nice.

Lucky you then. Plenty of them at the concerts around me. Why I haven't gone to any anymore. always tough guys all around trying to elbow you and knock you down if you are just near the pit. Seen a couple guys walking around smacking drinks out of girls hands and then running away. Dudes groping all girls surfing, and guys getting punched in the nuts while surfing. Shit sucks

I'm someone who listens to everything from brutal death metal to house and been on both metal festivals and festivals with electronic music and I've seen a lot more douchebags on the electronic scene. Most metalheads are very helpful and nice.
We have one of the nicest rock festivals here in Sweden, 'Sweden Rock Festival'.
Look it up, it's really fun and there are never fights but that doesn't mean it doesn't get crazy.
Joe is like that cheeky friend we all have that always gets his friends into fights and he stands back lol
