The story of Mary Tudor was a fascinating one as was her marriage to Charles Brandon but I have never read about their offspring. How lucky she was to have a love match. Thanks for this
Thank you,Jon, as always for such an enjoyable and educational video. Whist I knew of Eleanor, I didn’t know all the details you spoke of. Absolutely fascinating … thank you ❤
Hi Jon, awesome live history video. I enjoyed it. How are you doing? I'm doing well, and so is my cat Benjamin. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. See you next video 😊
Thanks, Jon! I never heard of Eleanor - indeed it never occurred to me that Mary and Charles had children. (I read WHEN KNIGHTHOOD WAS IN FLOWER as a child, and never went beyond 'Happily ever after') Another visually beautiful video with fascinating historical details and a warning to us all. We should have the courage to act in our own time.
Fantastic 😊 video on a very noble Lady!! She lived a good life and learned how to survive in a very dangerous age...this speaks well of her intelligence...
She died too young only 28 and seems to have been very different from her sociopathic evil sister Frances as a personas a wife and a mother I'm glad she didn't see the tragic end of her niece Jane Grey but I wish she had lived a little longer for her unfortunate niece Katherine that is why this girl had no one to rely on or speak in her favor how sad
Mary was born a Princess, became a Queen through her first marriage, and a Duchess through her second marriage. It was her second marriage that very nearly sent her and her new husband to the Tower. Henry VIII fined the couple heavily, then arranged a second wedding ceremony in England. The other Mary was Katherine of Aragon's daughter, who later became Mary I of England.
@@HistoryRoadshow This was a very interesting video and I love hearing about the famous or infamous Brandon's. Better yet is the replies you have to snarky comments. Those are the true gems.

Thanks for watching! Glad you found her story interesting.
Thanks👏🏼👏🏼🌹
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment!
First time i knew anything about this lady thankyou
Wow! If she’d have to wait for a letter to reach her husband before she could see a doctor? That seems a bit excessive. Thank you for the video!
It's shocking how things were done in the past. History can be eye-opening! Thanks Liam

Her Mother was; Mary Tudor, Queen of France, not Princess Mary Tudor (who, at the time of her birth, was her cousin - Mary I of England).
Looks like there were more Mary Tudors than we can keep track of! History sure knows how to keep us on our toes.
@@HistoryRoadshowMary was a fairly common woman's name of the time.
Two different Mary Tudors. I have the problem that I’m related to three different Margaret Plantagenets. Keeping them separate can be confusing!!
@@timefoolery Margaret was also a common name.
What scandal exactly? 😒
The scandal so scandalous, it scandalized even the scandalous!
It sounds like she may have suffered from a kidney problem. Heaven knows how that would have been treated then.
Word salad 😮
Lovely presentation but little to no substance. Disappointing.
Maybe I should have added some glitter and sparkles for extra substance next time!
