@derrav Thanks, it took lots of work to put this 5 part video series together. We broadcast it live last year. We're going to do another version that includes all the new updates to the StudioLive mixers including remote monitor mixing on iPhone and iPad coming soon.
I have a presonus studio live mixer 24.4.2, I use it as an audio interface but for recording (DAW studio one 5 ) the gain is too small and the wavesform are thin. can I use PreSonus Studio Channel Mic Tube PreAmp to solve the problem, and can I cause noise when using it. thank you for the help
Hi i have a huge question about this mixer before i make the choice in purchasing this, once i eq'ed everything and saved custom-ed presets on the channels, will i have to re do everything once i turn the mixer off and back on again?
Well, I have to disagree that it's not for the studio, I'm using it in my home studio, and it's great for recording! It might not be a huge mixer, expensive mixer, essentially it pretty much does what any mixer does! It takes input signal to your computer with your favorite DAW & has so much to offer whether live or in the studio, reason it's called Studio Live is because it does both! Personally I like their DAW Studio One Professional better to, because of better workflow and more!

That was a good intro to the Prosonus desk as i am thinking of buying one.

@confidence69: No. It does not have motorized faders. It does however have a fader "locate" option on saved sessions.
