So good, Kim. The influence of obtaining, building and succeeding often distracts me from what God calls me to do. Even when I am doing “good” things, they are distracting me from the main thing 💙
Amen same here with me even those things we need to do is still a distraction from the callings of God self control/discipline, and prioritizing life is a great task in this chaotic world, I struggle daily, but understand God is first in all things, and clinging to Him is a must especially in this hour🙏🏽.
Sis, yes! So many "good" things can distract us from the main thing. May the Lord give us HIS priorities and the grace to walk them out. Thankful to be studying with you! 🙏🏾💚
God shows us Our faults tells us how to fix them and let us know he is there with us thank you Lord
Such an important rebuke. Thank you Kim. So many times I’ve told God “later”. I’ll get to building my relationship with Him later. Life’s pleasures and distractions just sweeps us away from Him. He’s been so merciful in my disobedience. I must be obedient and seek FIRST the kingdom of God. Thank you.

This is so good.
"Slow obedience is disobedience" and puts us in a takeaway process with God. But when we consider our ways, repent, and obey, GOD goes to work on our behalf.
As you went through this study, I thought of ways this applies to me; and I also kept seeing our country in verses 6-11. LORD help us to humble ourselves.

Just now the Holy Spirit called me out on the same thing in my life, with a major home purchase I just completed. I receive your rebuke Lord , and repent of disobedience. I turn now to do what is right in your sight. Amen

This study has been so good! Even in the short chapters, there’s so much to learn. This was a reminder to glorify God and encouraging to not give up when He calls us to an assignment that seems challenging.

Studied Haggai a couple months ago. Now everytime I think of the book, I yell out CONSIDER YOUR WAYS 😅 Love that you're actually teaching on it! Don't think I've ever heard anyone teach from Haggai.

In my life considering my ways. Even clinging & walking with Him, I see my angst in things blocking me and like an onion layers are being peeled away. Help us Lord to know You come first. What you give us is already Yours You just make us stewards over it. God’s chastisement in natural disaster called for repentance. They than feared God and responded with reverence and worship. Help me to always #CLING to Your will. As the Our Father prayer says, Your will be done.

Blessings, this was an eye opener reading God's word is so essential to keep us on track. The Old Testament is still God's word we can still glean, and cling to it in today's time, because we are to hold to the whole word of God, His entire word is always relevant no matter what year we're in, because it's always speaking, and bringing new revelation as we grow in God, and this is why it is so important to read it as much as we can. If this word does not bring conviction to our heart, and not cause us all to think, and return back to those things God has placed in our hands to do even as we go about our everyday lives. The LORD commissioned His people in Matthew 28 to go into all the world, and make disciples that's a daily job that many of us lay down for one reason, or another we are to build up God's Kingdom here on earth. I love when sis Kim said slow obedience is still disobedience, and I agree. Thank you for this study sis Kim, and may you be continually refresh daily in Jesus name 🧡
