It is so hard sometimes to cling when nothing seems to be going right and you've prayed to God about it and there is no answer. I get confused because He is the only prayer source I have. I get overwhelmed and frustrated. Thank you for these 6 things I can use to stay with him, speak to him, and trust Him
It definitely gets hard but we have to remember that He is ALWAYS working even when we can't see it. And amen.....He is our source for all things and He is faithful. As we wait, we can trust that He hears us and He's working, 🙏🏾💚

Many times, I hear stories of other Christians who seem to have it altogether and feel like a failure as a Christians or feel like I have gotten the short end of the stick. Now, it’s comforting to know that I am not the only one who has a hard time clinging or the only one who prays and feels like there is no answer. I can’t even begin to list the many disheartening things other Christians have told me that made me want to throw in the towel. However, I praise God that there is hope and a constant open invitation to cling to Him even when it’s hard

Not gonna put my entire business on the whole innanet but I'll say this for people who like to read the comments. I know what it's like to have a wrong view of God due to people. Kim what you said about having people above God in your heart is true. I've lived it. I had to realize that 1) He isn't like man 2) sucky things happen in the world, which He told us they would, but He is still good 3) there's sin in the world and 4) He's not like man. I've been a drifter many times and have said MANY TIMES that I won't believe God will do something for me because I don't wanna be disappointed. A few weeks ago something clicked (abt a month before the cling challenge and especially during the cling challenge lol #howfitting😏) and I wanted to know more about His character because I was honestly tired of feeling how I was feeling. I knew God was good, but sometimes when you have your eyes "covered" for lack of a better word due to hurt and stuff, your view is skewed. Anyway, I started to really cling (or try to) lol and man I know there's a difference. Can't explain it for real, but there's a difference. And He's been good to me too by showing me things about Him that I might've heard in church, but it seems real to me now. I'm rambling and this is not 7pm Revival testimony service..but for the clinger, who feels like there's nothing to cling to or even that there's no point, I've been there, and the best thing for me was getting back to God and allowing His love to fill me. Someone at a conference last summer said "Let God love you" and that was the catalyst for me. Anyway, I'm done. I love y'all. K bye! 💚
Another thing someone said to me (don't tell her I'm giving her credit, her head is big enough) but she said...you just have to take Him at His word. And I've been trying to do that and keep that in mind when I don't understand something. And this morning in Bible time, we (as in me and Him lol😅) went over covenants and what it meant for His reputation and I didn't connect it until literally as I'm typing this comment, but that's basically His word. And He's gonna keep His word.

Thank you Kim! I am seated at work feeling low and confused even though I have walked with God for many years. I do struggle in sometimes believing that God loves me when He tarries.. especially on things that hurt on a day to day basis. But I love Him and know he does the same.. it just gets hard to understand. My pastor always says leave the how to God; trust Him even when you cannot trace Him. I love what you said.. my love for Him should be higher than anything here on earth (paraphrased). That was it for me! So very timely. I so admire your love for our Savior Jesus Christ. May God richly continue to bless and use you.

Trusting God...that going "crazy" thing is so true for me, but I not only drive myself crazy, I drive everyone around me crazy - and its gotten worse during this pandemic. I want control...but I'm no good at it, 'cause very few people do what I want them to do or think. Im really working on trusting God and just sitting back and watching Him work. It's hard to do, but I am getting much better. I do find the more I trust Him, the closer to Him I feel. It's like being a small child and trusting your big strong daddy not to drop you, at 71 years old tomorrow, that is such a sweet and comforting thought to be held safely and lovingly by my Father.❤ Thank you again Kim for this amazing teaching. Thank you so much! This has really helped me and I wrote down all you said to do. Two people very dear to me passed away this week, suddenly, and another one is in ICU on a ventilator, due to virus. I am praying to find strength in the Lord, but I am trusting Him through all this.

I suffer from debilitating anxiety, health anxiety that has caused me to get a lot of testing and er visits. I recently gave my life to God, and am trying to cling and have faith that this anxiety is something that will bring me closer to him, instead of allowing it to push me away. I pray he beings me peace and will wait until he does.... But if he doesn't, this video helped me accept that him being my whole heart is worth it in the end.
Evie, can't imagine what it's like to suffer from debilitating anxiety. But know that God is with you and will help you. He will even help you to cling to Him in the midst of this (anxiety will NOT have the victory in pushing you away from your God). Spend prayerful time in His word and let it saturate your heart and renew your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you in this. God is faithful. Cling to Him. He is your peace. Thanks for coming up with this video. Just what I needed to hear. When my husband passed almost 2 months ago, I made a decision to cling to God. He is all I have. But my grief has been overwhelming these days. And my need is to cling to someone with a body, someone I can embrace and who would embrace me back. That is why clinging to God is hard and it involves a lot of trust that even though I don't feel Him tangibly, He is there.

This is so on time - experiencing challenges with supervisor who "forgets" things eg. calling when I am in a meeting; not sending emails. I never retaliate - I have the assurance that God's got this! I will remember hot cakes in the wilderness. Peace / Blessings 🙏

Oh Kim, you are really talking to me. I have had the worst trial of my life. I questioned God but I was so broken hearted, I just clung to Him. And, just like that, He moved on the situation and I found out he had moved in the past on this ongoing situation that i did not even know about. It's not over but I know God's got this. He told me something years ago, and like you said, I began to doubt that I even heard him. He told me the first week of this cling challenge that I didn't trust him and I, like a fool, started arguing with God. That lasted about 20 seconds before I gave up and said, OK, help me trust you. You are such a blessing Kim. Thank you for this video.
Karen, I'm praising God in what you shared. It's so true that we often think God hasn't been moving in a situation and then we find out that He DID move in a very specific way, but we didn't know. How KIND of Him to reveal that to you. He was even faithful to speak to you and let you know that you didn't trust Him. Those moments are difficult because it doesn't feel good when God reproves us.....but it's for our good. And your prayer, "help me trust you" got you clinging to Him again! I started my year off with the expectation to cling to the LORD like never before, but can I say how many challenges I have experienced since the year began, my God! A few days ago an issue arose, and all I can say is that God knows all that is happening just as you said, and I am determined that nothing shall separate me from the love of God, because I also know that the enemy throws fiery darts our way to deter us away from knowing, and growing in God, and just as you said in short if anything can knock us off course from the LORD easily then we must re evaluate our relationship with the LORD. I was just saying today that God's grace is sufficient in our time of weakness, and this is what we must hold to, because every circumstance that happens in our life the LORD knows about it let's not forget job who was tried beyond on every side. It's interesting that this video is in the middle of the CLING Challenge The Rampart Edition. God is just intentional. Habakkuk was in a situation where it was hard to cling and many things happening that he couldn't understand but at the end of the day Habakkuk chose to worship. Habakkuk choose to trust even though he didnt understand. Habakkuk is one that shows how to CLING when it gets hard. My Goodness. Kimmmmmmm. WOOOOOW.

Now, I see what scripture means when it says that the GOODNESS OF GOD (not the reprimand, anger, or condemnation, etc) of God is what leads us to repentance. Kim this is on time because I feel all of this and I have been feeling like Lord am I doing something that makes You don’t want to respond to me. It feels one sided. I’m feeling “wobbly” just a little like Lord did I hear You? What do you do when it’s hard to cling because you feel like God doesn’t wanna talk to you. That silence is painful sometimes. Even in my Bible reading it seem just like what I do daily because that’s what I do and I need His Word. Maybe my expectation from Him has lessened. I don’t know. I’m going to keep pressing on because God is the ONLY way. I’m determined to keep go towards the Lord because I love Him and I know He loves me. Just a litttttle wobbly. It’s been a long journey.
Kesha, thank you for being real because these are exactly the thoughts/feelings that we can struggle with. I didn't even get into the silence but that could be a whole video in itself. But this is when you cling to what you know is true about Him through His word. You KNOW He is faithful. You KNOW that if you are in Christ, He hears you. You KNOW that He loves you and cares and would not *not* want to respond to you. Praise God that you have continued in His word because He IS speaking through that. Thank you for this video. I been praying, reading my Bible in the morning, fasting, etc. But lately I feel sad, lonely, and depressed. I been so consistent but it feels like things in my life are getting worse.
I have been there, sis, and it's hard to know what God is doing in those times. But keep seeking Him and trusting Him. Ask Him to gird you with His strength. Keep clinging to Him and KNOW that He is with you and He is faithful. It might *look* worse but you are always in a place of blessing when you're clinging. Blessings to you 💚🙏🏾

Hi Crystal! So thankful our paths have crossed. You asked where does the Bible talk about clinging. In Deuteronomy 10:20 and Deuteronomy 13:4, Moses instructs God's people to "cling" to Him. The word "cling" is in the NASB. Other translations say "hold fast" etc. In Joshua 23:8, Joshua says, "But you are to cling to the Lord your God...." In Psalm 63:8 David says, "My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me." Those are a few examples. It's a word that captured me about 20 years ago and the Lord has made it my ministry. Another thing someone said to me (don't tell her I'm giving her credit, her head is big enough) but she said...you just have to take Him at His word. And I've been trying to do that and keep that in mind when I don't understand something. And this morning in Bible time, we (as in me and Him lol😅) went over covenants and what it meant for His reputation and I didn't connect it until literally as I'm typing this comment, but that's basically His word. And He's gonna keep His word.

I do struggle in sometimes believing that God loves me when He tarries.. especially on things that hurt on a day to day basis. But I love Him and know he does the same.. it just gets hard to understand. My pastor always says leave the how to God; trust Him even when you cannot trace Him. I love what you said.. my love for Him should be higher than anything here on earth (paraphrased). That was it for me! So very timely. I so admire your love for our Savior Jesus Christ. Trusting God...that going "crazy" thing is so true for me, but I not only drive myself crazy, I drive everyone around me crazy - and its gotten worse during this pandemic. I want control...but I'm no good at it, 'cause very few people do what I want them to do or think. Im really working on trusting God and just sitting back and watching Him work. It's hard to do, but I am getting much better. I do find the more I trust Him, the closer to Him I feel. It's like being a small child and trusting your big strong daddy not to drop you, at 71 years old tomorrow, that is such a sweet and comforting thought to be held safely and lovingly by my Father.❤ Thank you again Kim for this amazing teaching. I suffer from debilitating anxiety, health anxiety that has caused me to get a lot of testing and er visits. I recently gave my life to God, and am trying to cling and have faith that this anxiety is something that will bring me closer to him, instead of allowing it to push me away. I pray he beings me peace and will wait until he does.... But if he doesn't, this video helped me accept that him being my whole heart is worth it in the end.

He will even help you to cling to Him in the midst of this (anxiety will NOT have the victory in pushing you away from your God). Spend prayerful time in His word and let it saturate your heart and renew your mind. The Holy Spirit will help you in this. God is faithful. Cling to Him. He is your peace. Thanks for coming up with this video. Just what I needed to hear. When my husband passed almost 2 months ago, I made a decision to cling to God. He is all I have. But my grief has been overwhelming these days. And my need is to cling to someone with a body, someone I can embrace and who would embrace me back. That is why clinging to God is hard and it involves a lot of trust that even though I don't feel Him tangibly, He is there.
I can't imagine what you are going through. Praying for you right now. The Lord is with you and I'm praying that His presence will keep you in ways you could not imagine. He is faithful. Blessings to you, dear sister. 💚🙏🏾

Oh Kim, you are really talking to me. I have had the worst trial of my life. I questioned God but I was so broken hearted, I just clung to Him. And, just like that, He moved on the situation and I found out he had moved in the past on this ongoing situation that i did not even know about. It's not over but I know God's got this. He told me something years ago, and like you said, I began to doubt that I even heard him. He told me the first week of this cling challenge that I didn't trust him and I, like a fool, started arguing with God. That lasted about 20 seconds before I gave up and said, OK, help me trust you. You are such a blessing Kim. Thank you for this video.
Karen, I'm praising God in what you shared. It's so true that we often think God hasn't been moving in a situation and then we find out that He DID move in a very specific way, but we didn't know. How KIND of Him to reveal that to you. He was even faithful to speak to you and let you know that you didn't trust Him. Those moments are difficult because it doesn't feel good when God reproves us.....but it's for our good. And your prayer, "help me trust you" got you clinging to Him again! I started my year off with the expectation to cling to the LORD like never before, but can I say how many challenges I have experienced since the year began, my God! A few days ago an issue arose, and all I can say is that God knows all that is happening just as you said, and I am determined that nothing shall separate me from the love of God, because I also know that the enemy throws fiery darts our way to deter us away from knowing, and growing in God, and just as you said in short if anything can knock us off course from the LORD easily then we must re evaluate our relationship with the LORD. It's interesting that this video is in the middle of the CLING Challenge The Rampart Edition. God is just intentional. Habakkuk was in a situation where it was hard to cling and many things happening that he couldn't understand but at the end of the day Habakkuk chose to worship. Habakkuk choose to trust even though he didnt understand. Habakkuk is one that shows how to CLING when it gets hard. My Goodness. Kimmmmmmm. WOOOOOW.

Thank you that throughout the message, you show God’s continual invitation to us to cling even when we fail or drift away. Now, I see what scripture means when it says that the GOODNESS OF GOD (not the reprimand, anger, or condemnation, etc) of God is what leads us to repentance. It’s beautiful to sense we have hope instead of being flogged with condemnation for having fallen and feeling hopeless to ever get back up again 🤗

Kim this is on time because I feel all of this and I have been feeling like Lord am I doing something that makes You don’t want to respond to me. It feels one sided. I’m feeling “wobbly” just a little like Lord did I hear You? What do you do when it’s hard to cling because you feel like God doesn’t wanna talk to you. That silence is painful sometimes. Even in my Bible reading it seem just like what I do daily because that’s what I do and I need His Word. Maybe my expectation from Him has lessened. I don’t know. I’m going to keep pressing on because God is the ONLY way. I’m determined to keep go towards the Lord because I love Him and I know He loves me. Just a litttttle wobbly. It’s been a long journey.

But this is when you cling to what you know is true about Him through His word. You KNOW He is faithful. You KNOW that if you are in Christ, He hears you. You KNOW that He loves you and cares and would not *not* want to respond to you. Praise God that you have continued in His word because He IS speaking through that. And praise God that you will continue to press on. Keep crying out to Him and let Him minister to you through the truth of His word. It's not about how we feel. Thank you for this video. I been praying, reading my Bible in the morning, fasting, etc. But lately I feel sad, lonely, and depressed. I been so consistent but it feels like things in my life are getting worse.

I have been there, sis, and it's hard to know what God is doing in those times. But keep seeking Him and trusting Him. Ask Him to gird you with His strength. Keep clinging to Him and KNOW that He is with you and He is faithful. It might *look* worse but you are always in a place of blessing when you're clinging. Blessings to you 💚🙏🏾

Hi Crystal! So thankful our paths have crossed. You asked where does the Bible talk about clinging. In Deuteronomy 10:20 and Deuteronomy 13:4, Moses instructs God's people to "cling" to Him. The word "cling" is in the NASB. Other translations say "hold fast" etc. In Joshua 23:8, Joshua says, "But you are to cling to the Lord your God...." In Psalm 63:8 David says, "My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me." Those are a few examples. It's a word that captured me about 20 years ago and the Lord has made it my ministry.
