For the boar hearts episode, the best explanation I've ever heard is when you kill the beasts, sometimes their bodyparts were so ruined by the battle or the atempted extraction during looting that they are no longer usable. Doesn't make 100% sense in a lot of cases but it's the best explanation I've ever heard.

I even showed my wife (who runs the game development, motion graphics and animation departments at a college in Austin, Texas) and she burst out laughing several times. I love the "Inverted Controls" skit's callback to when they were starting the game - "I've been keen to try your moonbeast build." Wayyyy back when he leveled up for the first time and put his point in, and he said "What, are you going for a moonbeast build?!" What's crazy is that had been years prior in real life, the dedication is just incredible.

Yeah core mechanic when you as a veteran player miss simple mechanics like "detective" mode you cannot simply believe how hard you failed. Which is why I alawys look into any kind of tooltips when playing a new game, so I never get trapped in a "noob" situation ^^
Um this is the Witcher: wild hunt. You can do most of the quests and things without ever discovering you can see Chaos with your Witcher senses an just see magic glowing and clues glowing a garish red.
