I am so happy I finally found a youtuber that loves greens and blues as much as I do! I am so tired of all the "warm neutral" looks... It's makeup! If you want a natural look then don't wear any makeup at all... LOL! I need this palette and the Gemini one... love the tones!

So beautiful! Love both of these looks. Melt make some of the best palettes in terms of colour story but it’s super expensive to buy and have them shipped to Australia. I might try and dupe some of my favourite shades somehow.

@@masongonzales5314 it does suck! I DEFINITELY would want to try it to help my anxiety/depression so I don't have to take SNRI's anymore...that was in 2007 or 2008 but I'm still afraid to try it again. Lol
@@shelbybuddecke7099 Maybe try looking into CBD oil then, I've heard they can ease anxiety. Although I don't know how severe your allergy to THC is because there are always trace amounts of it even if it says it's just CBD, so I'd still be cautious.

I’m not sure why everyone thinks you have to have transition colors, or that you can’t use shimmers in the crease. Makeup doesn’t have rules! If you watch pat mcgrath or Natasha Denona... their looks alway have shimmers in the crease and they use as few shades as possible. Your looks turned out great tho ❤️
Instagram makeup means using a lot of makeup products. And you are right, there are no rules.
With the right eye shape, you can blend shimmers this vibrant and almost metallic into the crease, but most eye shapes will not permit a pretty look like that.
That green shimmer on you is stunning 😻😻. Another personal favourite. They blend like butter ❤️ so pigmented. I’ve ordered off their site and from Sephora. Always happy when I’m doing a makeup look with their shadows and lipsticks. One of the first indie brands that I ordered online for and $US to Cdn. Exchange ouch! Thankful no duties - phew. Love the looks you are creating. Makes me want to use my palette tomorrow.

I have that same issue with my shimmers transferring into my crease. I recently tried the MAC eyebrow mixing medium and it makes them stay in place all day no more transfer that stuff is amazing!!! ♡ Alisha Ashley has a video on this. U should check that stuff out love!

Viickii Campbell you have the same eyes as Julia!!! They look like slightly hooded with a bit of deep set. You look like you might not be able to follow too many tutorials outside of Julia’s. And this is literally looking at a 3 cm picture of you so forgive me if I’m wrong
I know this is an older video but I just bought this pallet and I can't get my colors as bright. What am I doing wrong?? I use urban decay as a primer. Help? :(
Might be the lighting or the brush density. Makeup looks differently in different lights, so try doing this in front of a window or professional lights. Too soft brushes make the coverage more sheer, so try more dense brushes or your fingers. Other than that, idk.

I really like these looks. Some sifters really are weird. Don't try to fix something, if it's not broken. The traditional sifters work fine, so why try to be innovative or different, if there's no need for it? Nowadays, especially as its getting colder, I don't wear liquid lipsticks on their own. However I love to apply them, blot them on a tissue while they're still drying and apply a really creamy, slightly sheer lipstick or gloss on top. This way, there is still a longlasting base colour underneath.

I read a youtube comment that went something like 'melt cosmetics is like that kid in high school that smoked weed once and now won't stop taking about it' and since then I just can't take them seriously, lol. It's a pretty palette though and WHOA those colors look good on you.
I see it as two women who started from the bottom and created their own company. Also, Lora Arellano used to be Rihanna's MUA and Iggy's.
Glad you enjoy them! You certainly can't fault their taste, I'll say that. The Gemini palette is one of the most beautiful color schemes I've ever seen.
Lora (one of the owners) is actually a stoner and I’m pretty sure the other owner is as well 😂 I mean it’s a funny joke but the person who made that joke obviously doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I smoke weed too and if I owned a makeup line I would definitely do weed based launches.

Your looks are stunning. With that said, Melt missed the mark big time on this palette in so many ways : Green is everything right now. This should have been an all green palette with a teal, and brown one highlight. They should have included 3 shimmers and all the rest mattes. They should of left out the browns/ bronzes. The only green matte is so dark, it's coming across as black. UGH! The potential was there. The execution got jacked up somewhere down the line!
Have you seen the Gemini pallet from Melt? That one while it isn't all green, it's like a half green/half bronze pallet and it has a gorgeous selection of matte greens :). Really I think the Smoke Sessions pallet makes a beautiful sister pallet to the Gemini pallet. I'm dyeing for both

Star Duzt I agree that Smoke Sessions does make a nice sister palette to Gemini. My thing with Gemini is I don't consider any of those to be true greens. If you go to "givemeglowcosmetics.com" and look at the single eyeshadow called TWO MOODS or look at the color MALACHITE in the Sephora PRO SmokeyJewels palette those are the greens I consider "true" greens.
@@MSUSPARTANS1973 i couldn't find what you were referring to with the first link so i looked up the Sephora smokey jewels pallet. Honestly, in that same sephora pallet, i consider the Emerald shade to be a true green 😂. Malachite looks more like a dark teal to me lol. But those kinds of colors would be gorgeous to see more of in a pallet too!
Star Duzt I'm just laughing so hard because when I looked at Emerald in that Sephora palette, it looked a tiny bit "limey green," but then when I went back and looked and Malachite, it did look totally teal! But I did swatch it and it was definitely a deep green, but not so deep it looked black. I think my biggest issue with this Smoke palette is Im not a shimmer fan, and every green in this palette is a shimmer. Ahhhh, first world problems...,.
