I really enjoyed the first eye look before the glitter was added. It looked very grungy and beautiful and the green shimmer made your eye color pop. The second eye look I love! So simple but so pretty and I cannot stop staring at your eyes!

That Nars tinted moisturizer is a holy grail. It’s not a new product at all, they just revamped the shade range, FINALLYYY. Finally a good shade for me.
That tinted moisturizer looks great! Looks like it would be a nice and light weight for summer but will help to even out skin tone.. I think the final eyeshadow look turned out really nice.. Especially the shades with your beautiful eye color! They popped! I really like that lip balm shade too!
I really wish Melt sold the shades in their eyeshadow palettes as singles. If they did, I would want to buy all the mattes from the Mary Jane palette because they are seriously speaking to me.

I actually loved the Mary Jane palette. I thought it was deeper and more pigmented than the ND palette. You’re right about the shimmers though lol but I still love it, I can’t help it haha
I love it too. It’s the Glam palette tailored to deeper skin tones. Glitter always looks better over a shimmer of the same hue. Some , An for one, never apply a coarse glitter over bare skin. I wish reviewers would leave their preconceived biases behind when judging Melt.

I actually find Kinkysweat (Alicia) and Julia to be two of the best for melt reviews. They both go in open-minded whereas Morgan just trashed melt before she’s tried the product. I can understand what they mean but man.. I just love the palette 💥
@@georgiagrace510 sure glitter always looks better when applied over a shimmer of the same hue, but that doesn't mean it has to look like garbage. The mattes are gorgeous but the shimmers and glitters just don't perform well enough to justify that price tag in my opinion.
Im glad you didnt scrap your video. Its good to see the blunders. When I first tried this palette I was super unsure but I feel like glitter made a HUGE difference for those shimmer shades. Like if you put Maryjane all over the lid over a glitter glue I truly love the shade and find it to be so unique.
So I used to use a Sonia Kashuk tinted moisturizer... like holy grail, repurchased tons of times, loved it. Then the brand took away make up and only sells brushes now! How rood, right!?!? So mad! So I researched trying to find a dupe and finally I believe what I used, the Sonia Kashuk WAS THE DUPE for the NARS radiant tinted moisturizer. So I am so stoked, I have it in my cart right now to purchase, just have to add a few things then will buy. So v. excited! Enjoyed the video, as usual!! I just got out of the hospital, having my gall bladder out, so having a Julia video to watch now that I am home, trying to relax and get comfortable, made me so so happy!! So thank you!!
Fails happen to me before a get-together when I'm trying to add a little oomph. Helpful to see you work through the glitter fail. Also, your sense of humor is really fun. Could you do a summer look with "She's in Parties"? I haven't touched it other than as an eyeliner since I got it ages ago. Maybe add a light pink, silver/white, or yellow to an eye look? Just curious about how you would handle it.

That eye look ended up looking so good! I love that camo green color! Does anyone know of a dupe for it? I want something that color even if it's not a cheap dupe. I loved the first eye look until you added that glitter. I think you should do a look like that again because you never really do the dark waterline and and stuff and I was like wow her eyes are popping! You have such beautiful eyes!

I love Melt, but I find some of their formulas to be so wonky. I've had that same problem as you had now with the Smoke Sessions palette, it just crumbles and falls all over the place. And the Gemini palette is pressed so hard I have to scrape some of it out of the pan and mix it with water for it to show up on my skin. I bought them from Sephora and they've been like that since I got them. So weird!
That Nars tinted moisturizer is so good! So natural and flattering on the skin, and if they had my shade I'd repurchase. I just finished mine and it lasted years.

I love the nars. I use it on my work from home days. It suits me perfectly but it doesn't apply well with a brush - unless you go on and sponge after but it's a lot of work Vs how easily it melts in with fingers xx

I bought the Maryjane PR box and am definitely disappointed in the palette. I love the NARS tinted moisturizer and it pairs so well with their new cream bronzer!
No one does those ochre, camel and mustard shades like Melt. Agreed that their other palettes do it better. I was super surprised you attempted the flakey metallic pots. I saw them on Instagram and was like, "Hmm, probably not. "

I think it's Halo, the undertone seems more golden than pink (as in Aura). But I could be wrong.
