Good point with reloading and damage with Kiriko. Adding onto that, unless you’re actively keeping track of your Kunai, there’s no feedback for being low on ammo
Actually there is, if your throwing your kunai the last few will make a high pitch throw sound, same as other characters, when ammo gets low, pitch goes up, it’s just the throw sound is fast and quiet so it’s hard to pay attention to

The beginning part where you take the attention away from dps to help your teammates is what I would do on Mercy in ow1 but now it's different so now kiriko is so much better and fun to learn from those skills

We all know the true power of kikiriko is the friends we made along the way. Like the feeding tank complaining about needing heals while trying to 1v5 the enemy team.
Or the tank that wants to face tank bastion in his turret mode, not take cover, and then cries for more heals (honestly dps does this too, but I notice it a lot with tanks.)
I love skill checking widow players it’s honestly my favorite thing in the whole game
1:45 people would be surprised how well a distraction works in overwatch. For example, I’m a Reinhardt one trick (former support main) and I have the most ridiculous, balls to the walls, feed till you bleed, touch the enemy spawn door challenge play style.
I’m good at playing mind games and tilting the enemy team. I hit off angles so much that the enemy becomes paranoid. They’re so busy looking for me that my team has a lot more freedom to get picks.
There will be time when I charge into their back line, hold up shield behind them, and say “I’m being a distraction” while my team shoots them in the back. It’s SHOCKING how well this play style works in low ranks. Tank isn’t just about creating/controlling space, but also drawing attention to yourself. If the enemy are shooting at you, they’re not shooting at your team.
My friends love me. I have support mains that follow me to the end of the earth when I feed and it’s so dumb but so good. And people are so confused by the play style that they usually don’t know how to counter it.
Most try countering it by trying to rein diff me. Only one person has out tanked me, and he was a top 500 fellow who is a friend of a friend and he had a discord server and invited a bunch of people including me.
My style would not go far in top 500, I know from personal experience. But my crackhead Reinhardt is still legendary

i love watching ml7 have fun, but im guessing he's also having soo much fun because he's master+, down here in plat-diamond the egos of dps players along with their lack of aim makes it impossible to not only have a positive attitude, but to also have fun sadge
Every time I use my ult as Kiriko it’s almost guaranteed we take control of obj or wipe the entire team and can push, insane character

So I just started playing and realize kiriko is bit out of my skill cap so I scrolled down to your brig video learned her and I guess she got nerfed bad and I’m hearing it from people. Play Anna or Moria
nah, play who you want. for the overwhelming majority of the time, the exact hero choice doesn't matter, ESPECIALLY when you're first starting out. most people who say "play X" are just parroting back what they heard some streamer say without understanding any of the nuance.
it's a video game. play who you want, focus only on your own gameplay, watch and critique your replays, and you'll climb as you improve.
Honestly, keep at it with Kiriko if you like her. My heart's set on having her as my new main, and I've been practicing HARD. I believe it's all finally starting to click for me. The nuances in her gameplay are coming more and more naturally, and I'm hitting way more kunai than when I first played her.

Unfair is a strong word, there is just finally a counter to Ana so she has to manage her cooldowns better. I don’t wanna be rude, but if you’re sleeping enemies right in front of a Kiriko that hasn’t used Suzu then it’s a skill issue…
@@rektenuous1599 awful take, Ana requires sleepdart in order to not be dived and killed constantly, it’s her best self defence, plus it doesn’t matter where you sleep the enemy because kiriko can always tp to them

ML7 if you see this message can you make a post to the devs of Overwatch to suggest that Kiriko's Kunai should automatically reload if she TPs to a Teammate or whenever she ults. These two things or having them both added to her will make her slightly better because I too noticed that there are certain situations that Kiriko goes too long without reloading her Kunai. These two changes are good QoL buffs for her.

Kiriko does not need any buffs
She can do everything. She doesn't need that.
@@lukecomstock3447 she does need QoL changes. You can say that to Heroes like Reaper and Genji who also got this buff then you be rolling your eyes saying you were wrong. She will most likely get this buff on her ult in the future.

he's paying attention to his surroundings. he does the same sort of thing when scoped in as Ana so he can get even just a little bit more visual information on what's going on. at least, that's what I assume would be his thought process. I don't know if he's discussed this with Kiriko, but I have heard him talk about his scoped in flicks between shots when he plays Ana
Prefer the less editing videos like this so much more. Many of the previous videos over the last year were just way too many memes for my preference
