Moira is the only support where I feel I can do anything substantial. Every other support just feels like they're waaay to at the mercy of their team. Good work, you were defo MVP here.

@@nixie534 but in current state of OW2 Moira is the only support that can do better, there is bap or kiriko but with high skill they are and you also needing to heal too, its more stressfull. Moira is still the support can be impactfull and not throwing (in high rank ofc). She is boring but in this current she like the ideal support for ow2 not mercy (she is ideal for ow1)
@@GS00513not really, yes Moira can do a lot of damage and healing at the same time but that won’t matter when her whole kit is really bad against kiriko and mercy, her healing is usually bad and she won’t have good impact or change the game, but I agree i love Moira she’s so fun to play
Skill issue
Yeah I used her to climb to diamond. DPS are good enough to actually land their shots on me though now so I'm back to relying on matchmaking to give me a decent team when I play support
When they say stop dpsing as Moria but u need to dps to recharge your healing
Tem um jeito de recarregar mais rápido do que sugar o inimigo constantemente. Acho melhor, justamente pra evitar que me chamem de dps. Cura não faltará. Mas gosto de agressivar causando dano quando vejo que o time não progride .
exactly, they always say to heal more.. well if they never play support then they never know and always blame the support if lose the game.
Well, I don't have to do dps if our dps is doing their fxxking job.
Sometimes Moira IS the DSP. Some dsp won’t apply pressure/ eliminate.
My philosophy is to win the battle then heal everyone when we do. Of course I’ll heal on emergencies.
@@Lovelykarma0909 Moira is never the DPS. She is a support who can help finish off after the dps or sometimes get kills by herself (really depends). Do not only heal while on emergency. Whatever character that has low health will be targeted more and will die more (even with heals).
Honestly the dps who complain the most about supports are the ones who could get all the heal in the world and still do nothing
Why do so many people pretend as if all dps are the bad guys and support players can do no wrong...

Sometimes there’s just these Moira moments where you have to hard carry lol. When DPS can’t seem to get a single kill.
Why do they complain when they are literally getting carried?

"We're changing to 5v5 composition to make team fights faster." - OW2 comes out. xD Only change that happened in OW2 is life of support to more miserable than ever (since usually 2nd tank was peeling to help or take care of snipers). Loved the video Hoshi...even so I know it was painful. Gotta support insane support players.
This only happens in higher ranks tho. From my experience lower rank games are far more enjoyable.
Support is 100% the hardest role to rank up in this game, whereas it was probably the easiest in OW1
@@Siigrit lower ranks are miserable...you weather get people who play like if they touched mouse and keyboard first time ever or you versus gods because of broken matchmaking system...and the toxicity of low ranks is famous...
Advice for new moira players increase your sensitivity in order to deal with pesky characters like tracer or genji that move around a lot and to quickly turn and try and heal your teammates that are fast asf and bounce everywhere cause regular sensitivity is too slow to react also use ways the walls to utilize your orbs better youvdont always have to to be looking at enemy team to use em especially if they got a sniper on their team
Thank you for this video. I learned so much from your game play style. But also, I felt identified. Bad dps (which there seem to be a lot of) always blame Moira for picking up their slack and ineptitude. They blame healers in general first, but mostly they blame Moira I feel. I've had games with 400 healing Anas because they were trying to be dpsing and nobody calls them out. Anyway, I totally felt your pain and frustration (as well as your joy at having carried that game to a win). Subscribed for sure. Hope to see more of your awesome Moira plays. Thank you.
You instantly know a player is trash when they blame the healers, especially after dying.
As a low elo mercy moria main i feel ya, once i started as mercy doing like 5k heals before even first point noticed that the dps litterally did nothing but shoot the orissa, i switched to moira team wiped the enemy twice before they managed to kill the orisa once. They complain that i wasnt healing, swiched back to mercy did 10k heals 2k damage boost, 6 revs, they did not get a single kill.
Switched back to mora and trippled the lobbies kills.
Remember kids if your mercy switches to moria its because dps is doing jack.

I always have that same process of thought that maybe if I switch supports to like mercy to pocket them they might actually start getting elims... That's never the case if they can't get kills without a pocket they still can't with one.
bunch of times i switched from mercy to moira, bcs boosting my dps was just useless, went to moira, immediately killed enemy backrow and then went back to my tank to heal him
Damage boost won’t help then confirm kills if they’re missing shots in the first place.
Especially when you check the stats, and there's 20K heals at the end of the first round. Sure, if the heals are lagging, I might decide to completely lay back and focus-heal. But if you're healing THAT much, and dps can't get it done, then you just keep playing and hope dps sorts their shit out!! Luckily, in this match at least, the dps that switched to Hanzo fixed his problem pretty effectively. Junkrat, on the other hand, ended up mediocre at best.
The dps never look at how much you heal . They just blame :) cuz they just dont want to admit a support better than them .

I had a dps who main support but they are playing dps to “finish placements “ I can’t even express how bad they were
Jesus.. I get dps like this 80% of my matches, and there’s only so much me and the tank and other support can do. You were the only one taking care of the widow. It’s embarrassing..
As a Moira Main, nothing gets me more frustrated when I enable my team by pumping them full of heals until I'm empty AND THEY STILL DIDN'T DO ANYTHING
Then they say in chat "hEaLs?!" when I need to charge my heals and pick up some of the slack of our struggling dps
Like really, If their dps doesn't need to be babysat and ours do to barely win battles, I'd rather do more dps while keeping our tank or other support alive
Which I know some people won't agree with that, but it worked for me so far

I legit haven't played Overwatch (outside of TDM) in like almost 2 months now because of this exact reason. I usually just queue with a group and end up winning way more games, because I can never trust DPS randoms.
This game is showing me a severe case of DPS's who have never played support. Its just like how playing support helped me be a better Tank.

Great job! Especially with the terrible matchmaking in this game support just seem to get shafted a lot on matchups. When you have bastions that turret into a deflecting genji and they are just like "where's my heals bro" it makes you question why you play this game sometimes.
This is the universal Moira experience lmao. When DPS has 5 kills and i have 23 and 18k healing and they blame me for losing i scream i really really do. Thats also close to my highest amount of healing done. The most healing Ive done was 22.6k healing, is 22k about your average? Thats impressive.

Insane! I feel the pain tho for the first rounds where you talkin about the dps or tank blaming Moira mains. I feel what people don't grasp is that Moira is SUPPORT hero, not a HEALER per se. We support team and are not dedicated to solely heal. Any Moira that plays just or mostly healer, is either nonexistent, or a detriment to the team overall. The amount of games I've carried as Moira and still lost, is off the fkn charts. Also, it's always a trash dps or trash tank that love to pass the blame to support for them being shite. My favorite thing of going dps Moira is that the main DPS in my team don't know how to support me when the enemy starts focusing on me and I still end up killing them.
They always seem to run away from you when you go on the attack. When I try to do the same they melt me before I can finish them off. What causes them to run?

That's so frustrating having DPS being bodied by a sniper. Matches like this are the reason why I miss the "on fire" system was still visible. You could readily tell who was doing something on either team. They could even make it more robust by having the fire colors mean something to indicate whether it was gained from eliminations, healing or captures. GG though.

Kiriko played a good part too. Otherwise Moira was not able to support Orissa with too much damage.

I would say that your doing so well, there’s no other support that can turn it around one is Ana, but your kiriko isn’t doing a good job cleansing your tank when there anti-heal, and it’s just a dps and tank diff. You did so well!!

2:10 -- you get insane value, kill 3 key players, an ulting soldier and 2 healers --- and your DPS ARE STILL SOMEHOW DYING TO A WIDOW AND NOT DIVING HER
People on your team literally have never heard of Highground or just basically shooting from different angle’s, they literally were all bunches up the entire game and you were the only one in good positioning
the problem with your dps was they were not paying attention to anyone aside themselves
ive just unlocked ranked and always play as moira and sometimes even carry the team, got hated on yesterday cuz i didnt heal "enough" but my dps' werent doing anything, happy to see it wasnt me being bad (hopefully) but rather others hating and blaming support for everything

I love being Moira but every time i play her it’s always someone saying I’m not healing enough or doing enough damage and they are so toxic for no reason I try my best but the are still so mean and it makes me want to find a new main but I have to be strong and I stick with her😞
