    As a fellow PhD student in a (somewhat) related field, these are all great points -- some are also suggestions my advisor gave me, such as writing down all the ideas very soon after you had them.
    Another tip related to those in this video: my senior lab mate had suggested to me a daily strategy which is "manage energy instead of time". The energy to do complex intellectual labor is actually very limited on a day-to-day basis and it is not equivalent to time.

    Thank you so much for sharing! I am a working professional who is hoping to work on a part time Phd and so far made little progress. One thing I learned is that time is the only thing that cant be created.. You have to guard your time as the most precious jewels.

    I'm studying in Flanders so I think the situation is quite similar. Very useful!
    My PhD focuses on (applied) design in healthcare. Things I take on besides my PhD is learning Dutch!

    Hello Charlotte, I am fellow PHD student but I am studying part time. Thinking of your future and having a post PHD plan is definitely a great tip because it gives you something look forward to post PHD completion
