Hello, I would like to share my experience. I'm a mathematics student and I really liked the logical part where you check the whole theory not for theory's sake, but for the rigor of the formulation in which you propose it. However, in contrast, there is analysis (formal calculation) that uses extreme visualization to create theories that derive from certain objects with non-intuitive behavior. I didn't have this visualization before because I was used to logical work, but today I constantly work with visualization!
It totally makes sense! I've been doing this with languages too, but I didn't know how I could use this approach for more academical/theorical learning. Thank you for the vídeo (:

Hello Charlotte, I am a young man living in Syria. I am 21 years old and studying computer engineering. I am still a university student and need three years to graduate. I want to study computational neuroscience because it interests me, especially the topic of brain control of limbs and muscles. I want to migrate to one of the advanced countries like Russia or Germany to complete my studies. Currently, I do not work and my parents support me and give me money to complete my studies. I want to ask you what should I do in the next three years? Should I study a field of work and master it so that I can support myself and after graduation head towards studying a master’s degree in computational neuroscience or should I start studying computational neuroscience now? I really want advice and I have no one to guide me or direct me.”
man, that's crazy, overall me too, with the difference that i'm studying biomedical engineering and i really really want to get specialization of computational neuroscience
Thank you for this interesting video. To your question at the end of the video: i am a visual learner. I memorize things best when I have some kind of signature tag to it (Like a color or a picture or something that pops Into my mind, when I want to memorize it). It then appears as a picture to me.

If you have no direct course that is linked to CN, I would do a machine learning or AI course in combination with a biology neuroscience course. Also I would check out neuromatch, which is an online CN course, good luck!
@@CharlotteFraza in case I could do an MD here too, here in my country the MD is a complete Undergraduate course, you think it could work, as I work in the math and other disciplines in a isolated manner?
