My friend used to have one with an SR20 in it. It was awesome! Ended up getting into a huge accident it got totaled and crushed😢
No, not hardly. Chevrolet LUVs were a variant of the Japanese market Isuzu pickup. They were eventually replaced by the S-10 compact truck.
My first vehicle was a 73 datsun pickup. I still have it today. My grandpa gave it to me for my graduation. When I was 12yo he taught me how to drive it. Its a 4speed. But no, they didn't come in 4wd.

Why did the Datsun Pickup break up with the Ford Pickup? Because it couldn't handle the long bed relationship! 😂
