I am not a hot wheel collector but I have to say I have been enjoying watching all the videos like this and the rebuild and restored video. What a cool hobby. Thumbs up for you
I love looking at random finds too my friend! I’m an antique dealer but between chasing corner cabinets to trunks I love my Hot Wheels! Greetings from TN my friend, new subscriber!
Sweet finds, I specifically like the blue, Ford Pinto. I happen to own 2 of them myself, one yellow and one red both still in their packages. Thanks for sharing.
NvFocus Antoni very cool!!! I THINK the baby blue pinto only came in a TRU exclusive 4 pack. i have one that's unopened and i did an unboxing vid here: Johnny Lightning mini-review of 4 pack with MYSTERY MODEL ZINGERS car
i've got a collection of 74 different camaros (most hw, 1mbx)[1gloss black w/ rubber]. Ive got another collection of 73 corvettes. I've got full sets of cereal crunchers, gold cars. I've got a case of all trucks (i think there's less than 72 as truck packages are usually bigger). I've got lots of MBX[maybe only about 200+sky busters], bat vehicles, mopar, chevy, x-raycers, error cars, exotics, and black cars. I have a collection of minis [1 is a super, a fairly recent yellow one](i think there's like 40 different between HW & MBX).
The Matchbox pickup if definitely not old. It was produced after Mattel bought out Tyco Toys in 1997. Tyco Toys bought Matchbox before that in 1992. The bin lorry (garbage truck) is the 'older' of the pair, however Matchbox has been going since the 1950's (it was called 'Lesney' initially). The company name later changed its name to Matchbox as the models could fit inside a matchbox. Lovely models for 33 cents.
Probably you will never see a Corvette Nomad. It was a concept car early fifties. It went never in production. Maybe you can see him in the GM museum in Detroit.
Studebaker. They pioneered the center headlight to the steering wheel so that as you drove around the corner, the headlight would illuminate the road ahead of the corner instead of straight ahead. This was the mid 50's btw.
I love the Muscle Machines, but they aren't very tough. one must be gentle with them. I actually have a bunch of the small ones, and about 15 big ones, and maybe 2 double car kits. i made a video showing some of my hot wheels, maybe next time, i'll include some muscle machines. Maybe not not tho, nobody is watching the video i made, unless YT isn't showing it?
that green car is not a tucker but a studebaker; the 57 chevy is a promotional model. Unfortunely we don't have the culture of garage sales here in Brazil... Of course you were very lucky finding these ones in a bargain! regards!
Look...I know you had prior commitments and couldn't stop driving by the first time, and by seeing what nice grabs got really cheap, I can't help but wonder what kind of treasures you missed out on. More than 2 years ago I realize that...I digress! LOL
I have a Hot Wheels Radar Gun that works just fine , can check speed of a baseball , or flip a switch and check hot wheels cars speed. How much do you think it is worth? In excellent condition too.
DUDE ! that green car that u said was a Camen Gia Is a 51 Henery J Ford ' I cant believe U foun that at a garage sale !! That is another 1 I'v been lookin for !!! I love it !
mushedroom's toy box ... Can you please give me an answer on this question .. Why does my blue sheriff car made in Malaysia say sheriff on the bottom . i can not find an answer ....thank - you
I'm selling some old hot wheels and matchbox cars at a garage sale soon and was wondering what's a decent price to get people to buy but not so cheap that I'm giving them away for free.
Your final item...the Matchbox Refuse Truck is unfortunately missing a part, as there should be a part affixing to the rear of the body...! I have a complete model (green cab/yellow body) if you are interested in a complete version...!
Yup! I have seen the prototype and although I knew it was a Nomad because my first view of it was from the side, it took a second to realize the Corvette front end from the side view because it looked right but wrong at the same time, and it was bad-ass! Too bad they didn't go production on that one!!
+Anthony Edwards guess what? i just posted my CASE UNBOXING of the new TARGET exclusive SNOWFLAKE CARD hot wheels!!! check it out here and PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO WATCH: th-cam.com/video/UTAcjjlx6nk/w-d-xo.html
poochefmarowbe i was driving down one of the streets in my neighborhood (because my normal route was being blocked by a moving truck) and i happened upon this yard sale!!! some pretty cool finds.... not as awesome as your craigslist haul (which was epic) but some pretty cool JL cars....3 for a buck!
Holy crap dude I as well got that black and yellow car the one that has a bee on it the one i got is in VERY VERY GOOD CONDITION with my other cars I have :D
COOL ! great find man ' I like the J L 64 Dodge . I have the 69 Comaro ' 65 Mustang ' 67 G T O ' 58 Plymouth Fury & My favorite is the 69 Chavell + a couple others . If U still have the 64 Dodge ' would U be interested in a trade ? for either the Comaro ' or the Mustang ? Another one of these cars I've been looking for is the Zingers 69 Dart . all the Zingers I have are loose ' but still have the blister pack's they came in . I cut them out with a knife & stashed them . If ur interested please let me know !!
Man ' I'm sure U know by now that J L sold out to a Co. called Auto World . Now they make Factory Muscle cars that all stock ' but very well detailed 1 that I have I'm macking in to a pro stock ' or pro street car
so the yard sale guy put the cars in a box and taped it up for you?? if you got the cars for a average of 33c each, i have to sat you got a bargain, on average a tenth of what they are worth at least
Matthew Young yup! they were great cars too. although the balance was a little off which meant when it rained it was a fishtail-ish car. but i loved those cars. my friend had a coupe. we used to go everywhere in that thing
Greetings from TN my friend, new subscriber!
the tucker is actually a studebaker
It's actually Frankenstude. It should be purple
thanks for the clarification
Sweet finds, I specifically like the blue, Ford Pinto.
I happen to own 2 of them myself, one yellow and one red both still in their packages.

Nice!!!!
By Channel Garagem do Chico of the Brazil!!!
Note: the wheels with 5 spokes came out in the mid 90s and all the different wheel types exploded into many different kinds.
They actually made one of the corvette nomad as a concept car back in the day .... someone made a replica of it a year or so ago .... awesome pickups
Aaron S awesome! thanks for the input!
i've got a collection of 74 different camaros (most hw, 1mbx)[1gloss black w/ rubber]. Ive got another collection of 73 corvettes. I've got full sets of cereal crunchers, gold cars. Lovely models for 33 cents.
I think you got a GREAT deal. I love loose Dicasts. I like to handle my cars and I’m not worried about hurting a $300 car. That’s no fun
thank you so much! and thank you for watching
Probably you will never see a Corvette Nomad. It was a concept car early fifties. It went never in production. Maybe you can see him in the GM museum in Detroit.
Would be a crazy thing to see in person lol
Studebaker. They pioneered the center headlight to the steering wheel so that as you drove around the corner, the headlight would illuminate the road ahead of the corner instead of straight ahead. This was the mid 50's btw.
That was the Tucker, not Stude.
Wrong!! Tucker had the center headlight.(learn your cars!)
Just seeing if anyone was paying attention.
Damn! Nice haul for $.33 cents a pop. Those are all like $3-$5 cars a piece at most fleamarkets
Such a deal!! Congrats on your finds.
that green car is not a tucker but a studebaker; the 57 chevy is a promotional model. Unfortunely we don't have the culture of garage sales here in Brazil... Of course you were very lucky finding these ones in a bargain! regards!
Really? No one ever puts stuff in front of their home to sell to anyone? Wow.
You would be shocked with our lack of sense of preservation...
AW MAN i'm sorry. well if you ever visit here, you should definitely check out the swap meets. they have tons of cars... it's bananas
Oh gosh, how I wish I could live with my family in the USA as citizens...
its a studa beaker and that round part on the car is the sieclops headlight
The blown out neon green or whatever colored car it was before you picked up the second yellow T-bird was a Studebaker not a Karmann Ghia
The first one you took out of the box is a nice one. What a good buy! nice video and thanks for sharing.
aw thank you for watching and thank you for commenting
I love finding diecast cars at garage sales. I've had some pretty good luck, just need to have your eyes open 😉

Karmann Ghia*
James Rodgers Studebaker not a ford

It's a Studebaker, and Henry J was built by Kaiser-Fraizer, not Ford.
Dude.! You made out Man, what a find........!!! The green car is a stylized Studebaker......................
I have the camaro too... i think the Bee logo there is oart of the super bee version... Even the camaro is not a super bee.. lol
transformers
Super Bees are Mopars, (Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge). Camaros are G.M.s.
I’d go back and buy all the lightnings and treasure hunts if he had more
I like the ford pinto that was my favourite and that bee camaro was awesome.

That “karmann ghia” is a studebaker 😂
mushedroom's toy box ... Can you please give me an answer on this question .. Why does my blue sheriff car made in Malaysia say sheriff on the bottom . i can not find an answer ....thank - you
Tucker had a third headlight, Studebaker had a central intake for radiator!
Very neat grab!
i always mix them up.
The cartoon-like green car is a Studebaker, not a VW or a Tucker.
You got a really good pickup for a yard sale!
thank you. really happy with the found treasures
I'm selling some old hot wheels and matchbox cars at a garage sale soon and was wondering what's a decent price to get people to buy but not so cheap that I'm giving them away for free.
Jeff Schmidt if you are trying to some kind of collector value, best to sell on eBay. otherwise 50 cents each is a good price
Thanks for the advice. I sold them 2 for $1 and a lot of people bought them! I kept the older dated ones for selling on ebay.
The Green M2 Muscle Machine isn't a Karmann Ghia. That's a bullet nose studebaker.
carguy53 thanks for the info!
I have the same matchbox as that yellow thunderbird but mine has white walls and rubber tires
OH NICE
mushedroom's toy box Is it like special or limited edition or something?
i've never seen a mbx basic with rubber tires, was yours a factory job? i think i still have some of the barrett jackson cars too (mbx).
Your final item...the Matchbox Refuse Truck is unfortunately missing a part, as there should be a part affixing to the rear of the body...! I have a complete model (green cab/yellow body) if you are interested in a complete version...!

Corvette Nomad was a concept car in 1954 called the Waldorf Nomad
nice!!!
Yup! I have seen the prototype and although I knew it was a Nomad because my first view of it was from the side, it took a second to realize the Corvette front end from the side view because it looked right but wrong at the same time, and it was bad-ass! Too bad they didn't go production on that one!!
Muscle machine S were all awesome

Killer Price Killer Haul!!!!
The yellow and black Camaro is a super bee
hmmm really? a super bee was a mopar car though, not a gm
No, it's GM. Super Bee was a Mopar.
I think it is because of a code name given to it while in the real life production to avoid a rival company to steal its name i think i am not sure
Iconic bullet nose
And also i have that yellow t bird a long time ago
Wow 😮 that’s a steal
right? and the cars were in great shape
that 427 looks nice

actually JL was bought back by the original maker...
AW has nothing to do with JL. JL was bought by a private investor after the company went belly up.
i wish people sold hot wheels for that price around where i live
How much were they each?
so the yard sale guy put the cars in a box and taped it up for you?? if you got the cars for a average of 33c each, i have to sat you got a bargain, on average a tenth of what they are worth at least
yes! he had a cigar box that he was selling for a couple of dollars but ended up giving it to me because i bought so many cars.
your 33 cents each car is worth it
Tooootally worth it lol thanks for watching
mushedroom's toy box your welcome
The Green muscle machine is a STUDEBAKER.

The '57 Chevy looks like an old Taco Bell Promo (???)
+FclefRules could be...
It was part of a 4 car promo from Taco Bell. Have the set somewhere.
It is a Fraenbaker a studibacker
Step side pickup not flair or fleet side
thanks for the clarity

That's my kind of price.
Jackpot!
Hey would you sell all those cars

Mason Sousa really? that means it is a "garage" series car.what color is it?
its a Studebaker as well there both 1950 Studebakers.
thank you for chiming in
funny- karmann ghias were rear engined
Matthew Young yup! they were great cars too. although the balance was a little off which meant when it rained it was a fishtail-ish car. but i loved those cars. my friend had a coupe. we used to go everywhere in that thing
mushedroom's toy box saw a unrestored one going down the road, rusted and beat, but it ran- loved the sound probably had glass packs.
very very very cool! yeah i love those cars
