Something needs to change at a national level. Wishing Steve all the best, personally I suffered a SCI at work about 30 years ago. Life is difficult for many, keep the faith!!!
I can remember when Steve bought this car from the great Texas Mopar hord and now he has to sell it. These videos are very hard to watch because you're seeing firsthand how medical bills can destroy a person's livelihood. # 1 reason for filing bankruptcy in America??? No not credit card debt. Answer? Unpaid medical bills. 😪
yes, but think about the poor billionaires like the old govenor of FL who is a senator now rick scott who made his money by stealing from medicaid, how will the criminals get by if they had to actually work for a living.
Very true. However it might not all be medical expanses as he's not had regular income for over 8 months. A home mortgage continues even if your in the hospital and the expenses that come with owning a home. He might have had insurance pay for a good chunk of it (medical), but I would be up the creek if I had not worked in all those months. I would also be behind on monthly expenses. Financial advice suggests six months of expenses in an emergency fund in the bank, and Steve certainly was in the hospital longer than that. I don't even have a months worth of expenses amiable myself, and I suspect most Americans don't sadly..
Man, someone PLEASE get a gofundme going for steve!!! If all of the subscribers donat just $10 each, we could pay off his medical bills and he can keep his home and cars.

I suffered several serious injuries , what kept me going was the garage and a project , and my friends
It was spiritually healing and motivating having the garage and something to do out there ,
sure , it progressed slow , but it still progressed , some help from friends etc ..
.Friends helping friends on a project is the concept
Give the word and buckle up !!
We stand United to try and help you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prepare for an Avalanche of support
go fund me stand with steve everything helps
No kidding. Someone needs to step up for Steve. Guy should not have to sell his house because we spent months fighting for his life. Unreal.
Welcome to America in 2024, where everything is profiteered, including healthcare.
This isn't Canada where you get socialized medicine... they pay 6k per year, we pay 12k per year... so... yeah...
@stevemagnante it's good to see you up and around again. Missed you so much. Take care of yourself.
We’re here for you Steve, rough patches in life come and go. Keep going and we wish you the best.
Steve still has a good attitude. Absolute amazing guy. You can just tell.
Wow, Us TH-cam viewers don't personally know you but I have grown to love and respect certain content creators like you Steve. You're like an old HS friend that I grew up with. If there is any way us viewers can help please post it so I can donate. I'll also be checking out what your selling as well. Stay strong. Health issues only leave us one choice, the choice is you can either be bitter and angry....( A no win scenario) Or you can work through it with joy, peace and dignity. Seems like you're on the right path.
Good luck Steve. Praying for your healing and financial success
I am saddened by this news!
Im with so many others who have mentioned Barrett Jackson taking over the hospital bills. Failing that, a go fund me account would be a great way to help!!!
My heart goes out to you.
Steve is the car guys car guy. such good spirit and talent for his interest in cars.
Also, if he just has to part with the funny Fairmont, it needs to go to barrett-jackson as a charity auction...Craig Jackson, steve Davis, are you listening??
Excellent idea !
LETSSS GOOOO!!!!! WTF!
They don't care.
@@johndee9719I wish they would
I was thinking exactly the same thing!! Let’s get that done before someone buys it cheap!!
I wish Dave and Mike and Steve from roadkill and roadkill garage would buy this and finish it for you❤ I love your videos. Please keep them coming, and godspeed to you getting all better.
So glad you are on the mend Steve! However I’m so sorry that you have to liquidate your toys. God bless you man. We all missed you.
Get well soon. I'm so sorry you have financial stress. A severe illness is bad enough but the hospital bills can also be devastating.

Good luck to you, sir. No doubt there’s been an Angel on your shoulder or you wouldn’t be here today. May an angel stay with you and protect you.
Really love these year Mopars and remember your videos on the car Steve. Really heartbreaking to see what turn of events have transpired. I'm sure your medical bills were mind boggling. I'm just glad to know that you're still here.
Steve I wish you nothing but the best. Waiting on the go fund me page and Hendrick to step up ❗️🇺🇸
Hang in there Steve! I grew up watching you and reading hot rod magazine. I own a body shop in central Vermont and I always have a resto going in the shop. You have touched so many people with your love and knowledge of cars! Starting tomorrow I’m going to be adding 5-10 dollars to Every bill for “shop supplies” and will be sending that to your go-fund me. Much love from Vermont Steve and god speed with your healing ❤🙏🇺🇸
These are great ideas. How have the principals at Barrett/Jackson and others of means helped?
What is happening to Steve, happens to many people daily across this nation. Something needs to change at a national level. Wishing Steve all the best, personally I suffered a SCI at work about 30 years ago. Life is difficult for many, keep the faith!!!
Hello 👋 Steve im so glad to see you home i hope and pray 🙏 everything works out for you my friend
It is a very sad commentary on our country.
yes, but think about the poor billionaires like the old govenor of FL who is a senator now rick scott who made his money by stealing from medicaid, how will the criminals get by if they had to actually work for a living.
Never pay them. They don't impact your credit.
pay them 50 bucks a month for life is better than an asset melt
So sorry for all your troubles, Steve. Hope you get better soon. We ain't done with you yet! Be well
