I gotta thank these guys for my childhood, I’m 37 now, and a mechanic because of these guys and this show, have had the pleasure to build half a dozen Chevelle’s 68-72 and a few Mopars. Hope these guys are well
They were infomercials at best , I learned nothing, watched on spike when there was no speed vision or motor trend or TH-cam….forced to believe their bullshit … I was 20’s. And a schmuck believing anyth8ng these clowns said…… not even good info when we had only encyclopedias
Magnum blocks are not drilled to oil rocker shafts like the la block. The valve train is oiled through the pushrod. Was this block drilled for shaft oiling?
You know how old this episode is???? The one guy is dead now….Season 7 was 2014. Yes you could get 360’s in 2014 for cheap. Why would they not use that block again?
I hope you didn't run this engine as it will NOT oil the rockers with the setup you went with That Magnum block isn't drilled for the LA oiling rockers you picked. YOu need the Comp 1622 rockers and hollow pushrods to oil through pushrod.
The electric water pump is fine when you run it on a dino but I don't trust it on a street car because it has a thermostat and it will not circulate with a thermostat I know a manual water pump will take away horsepower what is just better
OG HorsePower TV Reminds me of simpler times.
Man... this is a throwback episode from way back in The Nashville Network days.

I've never wanted to be a professional mechanic but these show definitely turned me into a tinkerer on my cars.
I'm 57, been in the business of race/street work for 42 years and I love it as well
Same boat 32 here brother 🤘 while all the other kids were on SpongeBob I was on the powerblock

These episodes are still fun to watch, better than most anything produced currently.
These 2 were much better than what we’ve got now, excluding Tommy
Thanks for the shoutout for my home town Possumsquat, Ky!
finally some true muscle
Chuck was awesome
Mopars rule 🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
horsepower product placement tv, still fun though
Finally something besides Chevy...
Are these guys still on
No, Joe passed this spring...2024

In some of the video you can surely see that it is not drilled
@@elizabethmaderthat will not end well! I've got an '89 TBI, roller cam😢 truck engine that you can run those on though.
😂😂😂😂😂 this is the same engine used in the season 14 Episode 19... Where they say that engine was a purchase for 1500$😅😅😂😂
I had to go back and look but your exactly right 😂

Is that a cat on his head? I can barely tell it's a wig.

its solid roller cam so its all different than what youre talking about. they didnt mention any part numbers back then
Wow 20 year old video. So groovy 😮
I think that I remember watching episodes of this show as early as 1999. This is some real nostalgia!

These guys couldn’t assemble a model of an engine on their own , the revel model ….
